We have several websites using Rank Math where the client has a custom role (copy of editor role with additions/removals).
On all websites, the custom role has the onpage permissions and can see them but they’re not saving when the item is updated.
e.g. focus keyword and robots meta tick boxes aren’t saved.
We have to give them the standard editor account which then gives access to too much.
I think this issue was raised about 1.5 years ago and fixed but is an issue again?
We have the latest Rank Math version 1.0.83.
Thanks.

But when I run a OnPage.org scan, the only page that it tells me that’s not indexable is a cgi bin for Cloudflare. Plus, my site shows up in Google. And the robots.txt file isn’t blocking anything.
So, is this message just wrong?
Thanks,
Ed

]]>Please forgive me i’m not an expert with WP, but I consider myself pretty well experienced with using it and generally very IT literate.
Recently we updated the Yoast SEO plugin and now on the dashboard of our site we receive the following message:
“Your homepage cannot be indexed by search engines. This is very bad for SEO and should be fixed.”
So I followed further instructions and signed up at “onpage.org” and performed a full crawl of the website I work on (www.liferetreat.co.za).
My questions are as follows:
How can I fix:
a) internal nofollow link errors.
b) non-indexable pages with good OPR errors.
c) Indexable pages which are not in sitemap.xml errors.
Lastly, but importantly: how can I fix the original error message, that my “homepage cannot be indexed by search engines” ?
I massively appreciate anyone who can help me with any of these problems.
