You’re plugin seems really great. The one thing is that it looks like it’s hard to modify some of the functionality. How open are you to adding hooks (actions/filters) for modifying things like the shortcode output? Or, on the JavaScript side, firing some events when key actions are taken like selecting a video?
We would go in and do it ourselves but it would be great to not have to modify the plugin in case there are breaking updates in the future.
Thanks!

I want to embed the video on this website: https://www.ncoa.org/healthy-aging/flu-you/
I am given this embed code to copy:
I paste it on WordPress but it does squat and only the text appears.
Online research led me to this: https://support.ooyala.com/developers/documentation/reference/player_v3_dev_iframe_nonwindows.html
I tried the following script but it does not work:
<iframe width=”480″ height=”320″ src=”https://player.ooyala.com/iframe.js#ec=licGg2dzoSw-bnNwYt6YyAgys2Fb2tEs&pbid=f97d0d24ed7a439f8debf401b45821b5
&pbid=player_branding_id
&docUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fexample.com
&platform=platform
&options[optionname]=value&options[optionname]=value…”
frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen>

Can anyone show me the proper way to embed ?
Thanks.

but this plug in doesn’t seem to generate it. Instead, I get
<meta name=”twitter:player” content=”https://player.ooyala.com/tframe…….
How do I get the plugin to write the mega data to specify video?

Literally, just that text on a white screen. Not a problem, I thought, I will just uninstall and figure out some other work around.
Only now, ANYTIME I try to go to the dashboard or ANYTHING else, that page pops up!
And it’s really freaking me out.
Any help?

The flash video failure occurs most consistently on “post” pages. I have been working on this for some time and have searched google and the WP codex. Ooyala.com is also aware and investigating the problem. I am aware that the WP codex describes a javascript failure issue at: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Javascript – so this might be the area of concern.
I’m am not a coder, so much of this goes over my head.
My questions:
1. If the video player loads in Firefox, why would there by an issue with IE? (I know, nothing works right in IE – but we have to service those users so I ask anyways).
2. Secondly, is this a problem that can be resolved by simply making a global alteration to the header template in the theme so that flash videos embedded within each post will load and play?
Example page with video embedded in a post is:
https://woodtreks.com/use-a-smoothing-plane-for-the-perfect-finish/139/
Note: To eliminate the possibility of plugin or theme variables or outdated WP version, I have a staging site where I have upgraded to 2.6.1, where all plugins are turned off and where the standard “classic” theme is running. The same IE player loading problem still persists.
