Hallo Opajaap,

Thank you(Dankie) for an excellent plugin. I feel guilty not to have made a donation towards this excellent plugin yet, but will do so as soon as I get my salary on the end of this (March) month.

I just want to know how can i display the filename below the thumbnails of the “Last Ten Photos Sidebar Widget”? I have gone through all of the settings and does’nt get it.

Sildeshow with Filmstrip Problem and Two suggestions

I am having a problem OpaJaap that when I place a slideshow with filmstrip only, the film strip does not show properly and only one image is shown. You can see it here. And I have two suggestions, firstly if you can implement some type system which can create a page automatically for every image we upload and display it on that page in a a slideshow (every image would be displayed on a separate page) rather than displaying all images on a special page with “single photo in a style of a slideshow” option, you can see an example of what I am suggesting here. This suggestion would help increase page views and secondly would provide opportunity to show ads beside them and would help us to track which type of images/albums are performing better, it is very well implemented in the example above. Secondly if you could also implement that one image could have several resolutions like you can see here. I have a wallpaper website and these options would help very much.

WP Photo Album Plus Plugin: Disappeared! Help!

Hi,

I just checked my site and had a message saying that the WP Photo Album Plus ‘header’ could not be found so all of my galleries have dissappeared! My whole site is bare.

The WP Photo Album Plus is not listed in my plugins anymore.

How can this be rectified?

Tree sorting of pages in "link to" of a album

Hi,
I wanted to give a suggestion that can you add a tree sorting of WordPress pages in the “link to” section of the album. I have two pages with the same name eg. /5-series/sedan and /6-series/sedan so when I view them in the “link to” section to link corresponding albums I see two sedan pages and I don’t know that which page leads where which is very problematic. And another thing when I am copying a photo from one album to the other I have got the same problem (like in the pages) I have two albums of the same name eg.sedan which is a sub-album of the 5-series album and another sedan which is a sub-album of 6-series album so I get a little confused, a simple way to resolve this is if you add the album id along side the name. If you can add these features in the next version I would be very thankful because these are only problems I am facing now but otherwise the plugin is working great! Keep up the good job! And I also highly appreciate the new feature “Albums that contain new sub-albums will also have the new indicator displayed.” I was going to post a suggestion on this one too but you have already solved this.

Crop feature in WPPA

Hi,
I just wanted to give a suggestion that can you (opajaap) add a crop feature which can be used by the visitor of our website. I have a website of wallpapers and I am using your plugin which is working really well but I want some kind of tool which can allow my visitors to crop any image the want from my albums eg. a button by the side of the image “fullsize photo on its own” page which is labelled crop and the cropped image would be deleted after a specific time set by the admin/me. I would be really thankful if you can add this feature to your next version of the plugin, and I hope you like my suggestion. Plugin: (Photo Album Plus)

Let me start this topic by saying that this plugin is without a doubt one of BEST plugins I have ever used. We really appreciate your hard work OpaJaap!

Anyways, here is my issue:

When I’m looking at my webpage and zoom out, the Filmstrip will drop below its panel. My theme is not auto, and I have my column width set appropriately. I’ve researched similar topics, but they all seem to have been solved in previous updates. Any help on this issue would be very much appreciated!

WP Photo Album Plus Plugin: How to show a slideshow but default to 'STOP' mode

Hi,

I use WP Photo Album Plus.

I use the slideshow feature but people who view the slideshow do not understand that you need to ‘stop’ the slideshow before you can navigate with the arrows in the filmstrip below.

I need to have the functionality so that the slideshow appears in it’s stop ‘mode’ as the default but cant work this in the settings.

I know you can use the ‘album’ mode but this only shows the thumbnails which, stylistically, does not work for my site

Any ideas?
