Does the OSC site require some time before a new account & domain are functioning properly on my site? UPDATE: I just checked the OSC site & it says to wait 1 hour before the share count displays. So I’ll update this if it starts working after that time.

I have also cleared my browser cache and my site’s cache. Still no Twitter share count.

OpenShareCount is a drop-in solution to get tweet count back in place. Provided free of charge by Lead Stories all that’s required is to sign up and then change https://cdn.api.twitter.com/1/urls/count.json?url= in your sharing code to https://opensharecount.com/count.json?url=

Thank you for including OpenShareCount – sadly it doesn’t work for me. The backend keeps saying “Twitter-Error! Message: {“error”:”Domain kaffeeringe.de not authorised, register for free at https://opensharecount.com first”,”count”:0,”url”:”https://kaffeeringe.de”}”

Anyway, when I test the direct API access, it works:

It fails here:
https://opensharecount.com/count.json?url=https://kaffeeringe.de/

It seems to work here:
https://opensharecount.com/count.json?url=kaffeeringe.de

The error the API throws in the backend looks like the one, this request produces:

I hope you can help me find the error…
