I have been using this plugin already for years, but in the last month or last couple of months, I don’t really know when, it stopped working. In the past, I had problems with it, having it send the emails like hours and even days after, so I had to change things, I specially remember the SMTP. But this time, although I have been looking for answers already for weeks, nothing works. So, what happens is that when people fill out the form and they go ahead and they press send, it doesnt work, the button turns orange on the border, it doesn’t say anything. For some other people what happens is that then are able to push, but then the symbol of thinking appears and the form is never sent, or sometimes I do get the message from hubspot that was working with the form, but I never get the email from contact form 7. I tried looking for incompatibility, so I deactivated all the plugins working with it, hubspot, conditional fields for contact form 7, but nothing, I keep having the same problem.

What I found was that the form was taking the messages as spam, so that I had to configure the recaptcha, which I did, but nothing. The number of people contacting us reduced significantly. I do understand I am not paying a penny for it, but in real life, I think I am paying thousand dollars for not having it working, so… I am looking for reliable alternatives, even if I have to pay. I looked for a pro version of the contact form 7, since I have been using it for years, so I should also be thankful, but it looks that there is no support… Please help me find alternatives… it is better if it is free, but if it is not, and it is reliable I am willing to pay.

Stopped working with version 5.5.3

Used it for years, never had a problem (except the usual spam, but dealt with it with ReCaptcha 3…) until it stopped working with version 5.5.3, where the emails would no longer be sent…

hello,

in the contact form 7 plugin, when I activate reCAPCHA V3 by inserting the keys forr reCAPCHA V3 in the integration part.

but then every time I submit a form, I got error warning surrounded by an orange border:

There was an error trying to send your message, Please try again later.

even reCAPCHA logo widget is presented in all pages at the top bottom of each page ..

how to solve that ??

Hey, I’ve been using contact form7 for almost a year on multiple website without a problem, but in the last month some people have been complaining that their submission are treated as SPAM (orange border) – I’ve disabled the CAPTCHA and it works for some people but still doesn’t for the others. Any thoughts? Success submissions came from multiple domains (gmail, yahoo) but as well as the failed ones.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Error message in orange when using reCaptcha

Hi – when I fill out my Contact Form 7 and click the “I’m not a robot” button on the recaptcha, I get this error message in and orange border:
“There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”
The contact form 7 works just fine without the recaptcha. I can’t seem to find a solution to this! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yellow border problem in 4.4.1

Hi,

Since updating to 4.4.1 I get a lot of complaints from users they cannot use our contact form anymore. They all get the message with the yellow (orange) box around it and the message is not sent. I tested this myself and can only sometimes reproduce the problem, but there does not seem to be any real common ground. I tried different OS’es and browsers. I’m sure this has nothing to do with the words people use in the contact form, so I suspect something goes wrong with the nonce.

Any ideas how to fix this? If there is something I can do to test or help find the problem, just let me know.

Unable to solve Orange border Error

i am getting orange border error saying failed to send mail.
