We have emails set in WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > New Order, but they do not receive new order notifications when the product is a gift card.
Is there a setting we can adjust so they will receive these notifications?
Thank you!
]]>I’ve verified that WooCommerce settings is using her correct email address which is the same one used from the start a couple of years ago.
I am getting the WooCommerce order notifications.
When I send emails to the client’s address, she gets them just fine.
My client is using the Thunderbird email client.
Any advice leading to a resolution will be greatly appreciated.

]]>Some backorders are being generated on products despite having this set to Do not allow.
We are also experiencing duplicate order notification emails which started around the same time as the backorders.
WP version: 5.9.3
Woo version: 6.4.1
On inspection of some of these orders, I can see the order notes are also duplicated and appear to be changing stock on hand twice. See screenshot https://snipboard.io/DLQi9U.jpg
Note the stock levels reduced from 1 –> 0 in the first note, and then again in the 3rd note from 0 –> -1. Same order, same time/date.
Moving the stock to -1 then triggers a backorder email notification.
On the product itself, you can see in the screenshot (https://snipboard.io/YiVjDk.jpg) that the Stock quantity is now showing -1 and backorders are set to Do not allow.
Testing on the front end shows that the Add to card button is unavailable when selecting a product/variation with zero stock, so I don’t think customers are adding these products from the front end.
Something appears to be duplicating the stock movement on each order.

Next step is to disable theme and plugins and put through a test order, but given that it does not happen on every order, this might be a little difficult to replicate.
Thanks

I get the following message:
WooCommerce users
Mailchimp for WooCommerce 1.0.9 or later is required to support Order Notifications. If you haven’t updated since Feb 3, 2017, please update to the most recent version.
Before you start this Automation, verify that your store is up to date.
…and the “start” button remains greyed-out and unavailable.
I’ve seen this asked before and marked resolved, but it never said what resolved the issue. In one case it was too many characters, so I went back and undid the changes I had made to the email text (minor ones like including the first name merge tag). However, I still got the error and was not able to start the order notifications.
WooCommerce is up to date, as is the Mailchimp plugin which shows that it is connected. This is a new WooCommerce install with only a few products currently in the shop at this point. I’m just testing everything out.
What can I do to get this resolved? FYI I tried this with a different site as well, same behavior.
Thanks,
Cheryl
we don’t receive emails since today. i haven’t changed the settings. Can you help me?
Thanks in advance
Tim
Keeps telling me “Mailchimp for WooCommerce 1.0.9 or later is required to support Order Notifications. If you haven’t updated since Feb 3, 2017, please update to the most recent version.

Yet my store is up to date. I have disconnected my store, deleted the plugin from wp dashboard, and started all over again, yet the issue persists. on the contrary, i was able to “Start Sending” Welcome Emails.
Please help me. I need to start sending my order notifications email.
I included a snapshot of the issue at here
I have been using the plugin successfully for abandoned carts and just tried out the order notifications automation today with some issues. After a successful test purchase and order notification from Mailchimp, I then had two store orders come through and no order notifications were sent. Both orders are set to processing as was my test purchase. I checked the campaign and no emails were sent (only mine). I waited a few hours and also tried to re-sync but still not emails.
I checked the logs and both customer orders had ‘NOTICE abandoned_cart.success :: email:’ whereas my order had ‘NOTICE order_submit.success :: addStoreOrder’.
I checked and the two customer orders didn’t come from an abandoned cart automation. Regardless if they did, I would expect the order notification emails to be working.
Any idea why this is not working? I am really keen to start using the MC order notifications but will have to give it a miss if it’s buggy.
Thanks
