Our orders placed on PayPal are put “ON HOLD” whenever someone decides to pay via PayPal. This does not happen when they choose something like “Stripe”
Is this because the email we have linked?
For example;
We have the main email for PayPal set as:
But the email we have linked on the website for PayPal is a different email which is [email protected].
Is the “ON HOLD” situation happening because we are using a different email other than the main email we have for PayPal? And if we use the main email, will the orders be put as “Processing” versus the way they do currently (ON HOLD)?

I’m setting up my woocommerce – and when I did a test purchase as a customer – my product (download) is on hold (I have not receiced the download link) – due to
” a validation error: Paypal IPN response from a different email address.”
I have 2 email addresses linked to my business account, so this should not make any difference.
If this email address is different – what is it different from?? where is the email setting which must be identical to the paypal IPN response??

]]>I got the problem, as far as I know, when I installed Loco Translate and translated the text:Your order is on-hold until we confirm payment has been received. Your order details are shown below for your reference: to swedish. I have tried to disable Loco, even though I find it far fetched that the plug-in is the issue, but nothing changes. And another strange part of the problem is that what text that changes colour from the default black to purple isn¨t static, it changes from On hold mail to on hold mail, in other worlds sometimes a text is purple/pink and sometimes not. Really strange.
Do anyone have an idea on how to troubleshoot this?
