Order-received page works on staging not on live

Hi there

When a user completes a purchase on my website they are directed to an empty cart page not the standard order-received page. I have tested as both a logged-in user and as a guest user and both get directed to an empty cart page after payment.

Testing on my staging site (WP Staging) site however, users correctly get directed to the standard order-received page. I don’t think it’s a plugin conflict therefore that can be tested by deactivating and reactivating plugins while using Storefront?

What I did try was to not include Wordfence plugin when I created the staging site this morning and added it in afterwards (it was active when I did the test purchase). Thinking this might’ve made a difference I deactivated the Wordfence plugin on my live site while I performed some test purchases but it made no difference.

I’ve looked through other support threads and nothing seems to match this particular scenario. My site also doesn’t have the Yoast plugin which I note some others have had issues with in regards to the order-received page.

Below I’ll copy in status reports for both the live and the staging sites.

As an aside (possibly not related) when I try to disable test mode payments on my live site it won’t allow it i.e. the checkbox is able to be unticked and I can click on ‘save settings’, get the note that ‘settings have been saved’ but it won’t let me navigate away from the page. I have to log out and log back in for it to take effect.

Any help would be appreciated.

Everytime clients purchase a Variable product, they get a critical error message on the “Order Received” Page.

Order received page not working

Hello.
On my site (probably after the update of wordpress or woocommerce), when ordering without registration and login stopped appearing page “order-received”, instead of it appears empty basket page.
If you make an order logged in, everything is normal and the “order-received” page is shown correctly.
Help please.

Hi,

I am facing an issue with my WordPress site where I am using YoastSEO.

The issue is related to Woocommerce.
My Order Confirmation Page, which should appear after a checkout is completed, doesn’t show up and redirects the user to Cart page.

I checked things up and did my testing. I deactivated and activated all plugins one by one. When it came to YoastSEO, the issue was resolved by deactivating it.

Please help me fix this issue. My site is fully setup using YoastSEO, that’w why I can remove it from my site.

Therefore, I need to fix this issue so that my customers can see their Order Overview at Order-Received page.

If you don’t understand or need any info, please let me know.

Woocommerce order-received chrome asks for login

Hi,

I am a developer for PlatiOnline Payments plugin, which is a payment gateway based in Romania.

We use a redirect to payment page and after the customer enters card details on our site, we redirect back to the website to display authorization response. Everything used to work perfect, but since a while ago, we have some problems on the order-received page. It asks for login, although the client is logged in when he is redirected to our payment page.

We know that for Chrome we should set the session cookie as samesite = None, Secure to prevent this from happening, but as I can see WordPress doesn’t have this option.

If I go to My Account I am logged in, but on the checkout order-received page it asks me to login. Any ideas how to fix this? For guest checkout I already applied woocommerce_order_email_verification_required filter and it works, but for logged in users the problem persists.

So far, it works for Divi with the checkout shortcode [woocommerce_checkout] in a code block and allows Custom Thank You Page template in the Divi Theme Builder as specific page template.
It gives you a free option for your Custom Thank You Page.

Not tracking purchases

Hello, few days ago i have created GA4 and connected with it with my website by using your plugin. However, tried to make fake buys but it’s not appearing in the statistics, still showing “0” purchases.

Do you have any idea who might cause it?

Few things i’d like to mention also:
1. Because its GA4, i didn’t do any modifications in analytics account ( Like turning on ENHANCED ECOMMERCE or something ). As i know for GA4 you don’t need to do anything for seting up an ecommerce.
2. My checkout/order-received url is …apmokejimas/order-received ( apmokejimas is translation for checkout in my language ) maybe this one causes it?
