Oria theme Search does not work

Hello, since update to WordPress version 5.0.1 (meanwhile I have 5.0.2, but that did not solve the problem) the search function does not work properly. I am using Oria Theme, version 1.09 frome June 2018. If I use the search function looking for example for “Geister” I get only three results, relatet to a new entry. But I have several articles with the word “geister” in the headline and this articles are still in the system. But I cannot search for them. I have tested this with some more keywords with the same result: recently published articles can be found, older articles not. What could be the reason? Does the new WorpPress version cause that problem? When will there be a new version of Oria theme available? And might that solve these problems? Thank you very much for attention and support. Eva

My website is filled with lots of photos. The current theme I’m using automatically adds space in between photos in each blog posts. I’d love to try Oria but it squeezes all my photos, affecting aesthetics. Could you please help me out?

how to integrate co-autors in ORIA theme byline

I have been trying to find something in the ORIA theme php files that resembles the author related template tags that I would replace by co-authors-plus tags in order to have all authors appear in headers of posts, in the blog page as well as single post display, in my blog (https://www.wisdom-in-process.com/)

The only place I am able to find something that looks relevant is this function in the ORIA theme template-tags.php file:

esc_html_x( ‘%s’, ‘post author’, ‘oria’ ),
‘‘ . esc_html( get_the_author() ) . ‘’
);

But it doesn’t look so similar to the excamples in the co-authors-plus documentation that I would have a clue of how to replace it – or even be sure that I have found the right bit of code.

I hope someone familiar with php, wordpress and co-authors-plus code sees this and can throw some light on my path here… Thanks a lot!

Oria Theme customization and hiding posts.

Hi There,
I apologize if this topic has been covered already. I am using the Oria theme and my first foray into WordPress/website design, but have a couple question on the them;

1) As I’m using the site site primarily as conduit for portfolio/past design work, can I hide or shrink the blog posts component temporarily until I have content uploaded?

2)The Customization of themes allows for a bit of tweaking in terms of the header and associated fonts, for further customization I will need edit the CSS file or is there a plug-in/add-on they expands on the customization within the interface?

I would essentially like to understand the out-of-the box limitations on customization for the theme or is it Sky’s the limit as they say..

A clean, minimal and modern theme way.
