I’ve tried a text field as shown in the example and typed exactly the same help topic that exists in osticket, didn’t work. I also tried a drop down menu, that didn’t work either.
Not sure what else to try, any suggestions?

Excellent plugin you made, it just affords to our needs,
Even so, I’m new using osTicket and reviewing the documentation I see that It’s possible add some custom tickets fields to the call in your api. That worked for me to add a department dynamic field in tickets details and with a filter in osTicket match those with some departments.
Here I made a fork https://github.com/musthagon/scand-osticket-connector of your plugin.
And the steps I did was so:
Osticket:
1. In Admin panel > Manage > Forms > Ticket details . I add two fields: one dynamic field link to departments and other basic field (short answers). And I put two unique variables to each one.
WordPress:
1. In osTicket connector setting, now will appear four new fields:
2. Custom text form field osTicket name: Variable of basic field in osTicket .
3. Custom text form field target name: Contact form name match for basic field.
4. Custom dynamic form field osTicket name: Variable of dynamic department field in osTicket.
5. Custom dynamic form field target name: Contact form name match for dynamic department field.
WordPress form:
1. I added a field for basic field.
2. I added a select field similar to topic (osticket-topic) with the pipes, for dynamic deparment field.
I tested it in: osTicket v1.15.2
This could be useful for others I think.
Greetings from Venezuela.
I’m rebuilding our systems “from scratch” and would like to use osTicket Connector as a complete bridge between WordPress and osTicket. However, we rely heavily on several custom forms, and I see no way of getting that information from WordPress into osTicket. Is this possible?

]]>Firstly, as previously described, when scrolling with the editor open it’s extremely stuttery – it looks like there is some conflict with the sticky menu in the theme and the editor as it seems to redraw constantly on scroll. It doesn’t happen when viewing a longer list of tickets with no edit window, as far as I can ascertain, and I’m not sure if this a general issue as this is the only frontend editing window I’m using.
I have had a look to see if I can figure out what to add to the custom CSS section of theme, but my knowledge here is probably just enough to make me dangerous. Any assistance would be appreciated.
The second issue appears to be minor at the moment, but relates to an error seen in the console which is reporting:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token )
This appears to be due to the following line in the browser:
if ((FileSize > )){
Looking in the plugin code I see the second operand is PHP generated:
if ((FileSize > <?php echo $max_file_size; ?>)){
Going further back it seems this should be set as follows:
$fileconfig=key4ce_FileConfigValue();
$filedata=json_decode($fileconfig);
$max_file_size=$filedata->size;
I have added the file storage plugin to OST, and it seems to be enabled, but I don’t get an option to upload a file (which isn’t a deal breaker right now, but might be nice in future). I’ve looked to see if I missed a config or setup step, but didn’t find anything. Any thoughts on this one?
I can provide access if that would help, although I’d prefer to do that privately.
Thanks
Richard
