Translation overriden by other language

Hi,

I installed the polylang plugin to translate my Shaka theme based site from english to spanish. For pages , when translating to spanish and saving the content, the english version gets overriden with the spanish content and viceversa. Not sure why is this is happening.

Also when creating spanish and english pages version independently with different content, after I tried to related them using the polylang text field auto complete the content also gets replaced the current page content.

Can you please give me some advise?

Header Image set to Logo Image

In payment method options page, when the settings are saved,
the Header Image (750×90) field gets the same URL as the Logo Image (190×60) field.
Hence it is currently not possible to properly set the Header Image (750×90).

Changing header size: Changes are bring overriden

I cannot seem to change my header size despite changing the stylesheet and using the custom css plug in. It seems to be bring overridden by java script or something. When I open up firebug, it seems the header is being controlled by the element.style but I am confused about how to change this function. Any ideas? Thank you so much.

background css gets overridden

hello,

I have a custom page loaded into a child theme and a custom header to go with it also.

Im having a problem getting the custom page to change background.

I can see my newly applied css in firebug but it is over ridden by another class. I am stumped as to how to fix it.

This is the css i have used,

As I say firebug shows the new css when veiwing the it in the console so why is the other code still over riding it and how do i fix it.

Child Theme styles being overriden

I made a child theme from this, and somehow my style.css is still being overridden by the themes main. The only way I can override it is if I put it in the edit css section under the appearance tab. But that shouldn’t be the only way.What if I need to update your theme, will it replace all my styles if its in the edit css?

I’m just use to making a child theme, so not sure why its not calling my styles.

Sitemap Generator has Overriden the Actual Website

I generated a sitemap following the directions of a popular plugin, but it has overridden the entire site. I have no idea what to do, the theme is stripped it is just plain html.

I deleted the sitemap file from my publichtml folder and it did not work and I am not seeing anything on my searches for similar problem.

Any ideas, the site is live and help is much appreciated

SubPages and SubMenus

I am using WordPress as a CMS rather than a blogging site at the moment. I am using one of the free themes as a spring board to getting a functioning website up and running (the one called “Modern Green Theme”). I have developed several pages and child pages under the assurance that I would get menus and submenus – however, this doesn’t seem to work. I am wondering if the author of the theme may have overridden this feature… is that possible? If not, I’m stymied. If so, any suggestions how to fix the problem? (Although a novice WordPress user, I have done quite a lot of tinkering with the php code, but it is not easy to untangle with my current level of knowledge.)
