I’ve been using POST SMTP for a couple weeks now and it’s been amazing piece of software. However, yesterday it just stopped sending emails. I’m using ovh pro email server. I didn’t belive it’s beacause of the plugin, so I contacted hosting and email provider. They said everyting is fine od server side. I checked it with quick nodemailer test and it’s true, servers are working fine. I’ve read that SEO plugins are causing issue? I don’t know. Please help. Thanks in advance. Here’s diagnostic log:

I’m trying to migrate a wordpress site to a host, namely OVHcloud and I wish to understand how to install the database as the documentation for Duplicator isn’t very clear.

So I’ve been able to create the installer and archive files using duplicator, and I’ve managed to access it from the domain and access the installer. Now, my problem is that I can’t seem to get past the database installation step. First of all, what “Action” should I choose to ensure that the data from my previous database is transfered? I’ve written a lot of additional CSS and to my understanding the CSS is stored in the database. Secondly, if I’m doing a “Classic Install” (no previous wordpress installation on the new host) do I need to create a new database with a new user or use the old one on the previous host?

how to fix this error

je recherche un consel, une aide pour deployer un cache sur mon site. Un cache page et un cache objet. J’ai testé plusieurs plugin, les essais sont non concluants. W3 est en erreur avec amp.

Je suis sur un serveur OVH mutalisé c’est peut-être un probleme mais je dois faire avec pour le moment. edis et memchached ne sont pas accessibels aux serveurs mutulaisé. Du grand service OVH.

je en toruve pas de ressources particulère pour mettre en oeuvre des caches par moi-même éventuellement

L’état de santé du site me signale :

•  Le temps de réponse médian du serveur était de 928 millisecondes. Il devrait être inférieur au seuil recommandé de 600 millisecondes.
•  Aucun en-tête de réponse de cache client n’a été détecté.
•  Aucune extension de mise en cache des pages n’a été détectée.
• Median server response time was 956 milliseconds. It should be less than 600 milliseconds.
•  No client caching response headers were detected.
•  A page caching plugin was not detected.

Sans cache mon page speed google reste honorable dirons nous 87. Ce qui ralenit ma page par ailleurs c’est amp selon le page speed.
Il y a quelques autres modifiations à faire mais les problèmes prinicpaux résident dans :

• Réduire le temps de réponse initial du serveur. URLTemps passé/?amp(www.agilateur.fr)1?230 ms.

• Réduire l’impact du code tiers Le thread principal a été bloqué par du code tiers pendant 280 ms. Le code tiers peut affecter considérablement les performances de chargement des pages. Limitez le nombre de fournisseurs tiers redondants, et essayez de charger du code tiers une fois le chargement de votre page terminé. TBT.

I can’t get the Inbox server of a WP Mailster v1.8.1 (on a WordPress v6.0.1) hosted by the French service provider OVH to work. I tried the settings indicated in the WP Mailster doc ( https://wpmailster.com/doc/mail-provider-settings/ ) or those of OVH without success.
According to the documentation, for OVH, you must use the POP3 protocol on port 110 without secure authentication or using SSL/TLS encryption.
A connection test returns the following error in the logs:
SECURITY PROBLEM: insecure server advertised AUTH=PLAIN
Retrying PLAIN authentication after [AUTH] Authentication failed.

Do any of you have any idea where the problem could come from?
and how to fix it?

Sorry for this common error, but I’ve checked lots of articles, tutorials and forums and I can’t solve this problem.

I have a site working whithout wordpress using OVH. I am making a new site with WP using a local DB. I’d like to move the tables from local to live, where the current site is hosted.

I imported my database from a localhost export.
I edited wp-config.db with the correct “dbname” and password.

I know the user, password and host are corrects because I can connect to the DB with pypmyadmin. The server is not down because the current site has no problem with it. And all the tuto using ovh have this kind of wp-config.db.

I can’t see where does the problem come from.

I want to fix the wordpress website of a friend that is installed on a OVH shared hosting plan.

The first thing I noticed is that everything (WordPress, plugins, templates) installed is out of date, but the update page of the backoffice doesn’t show any updates available.

After enabling errors in WordPress, it show me multiple time in the update.php page of the backoffice : “WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/username/public_html/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line XXX”

Online I cant see a solution for this probleme on shared hostings… When I moved my website to localhost, the update page worked fine, so I think I can say that the problem is with the hosting provider (OVH) ?
