I recent took on a client who is using WordPress to run his website. The version is 4.4.1 and his theme is World Wide. I am not the person who set this up; I am just helping maintain the website and create online content as a freelancer.
He has no experience with updates or plugins on the website. He came across an issue and he would like me to help fix it, however, I haven’t been able to find a good solution.
On the homepage (front end of the website), under the categories “Commentary, Breaking News, Economy and Human Interest,” there are page buttons and buttons that say “Next” and “Last.” However, these buttons stopped working sometime after the website was updated to WordPress version 4.4.1. The pages don’t rotate as they should and my client is getting frustrated because some of the older stories aren’t getting seen.
I thought it might be a plugin issue, but I can’t seem to access any plugins from the website’s dashboard.
The website is https://fairfaxfreecitizen.com/. Any help would be appreciated.
]]>First of all I would like to thank you for this awesome plugin- it is very easy for working with, also good looking for a free version.
I am quite new at developing sites, never worked with CSS before (I google everything I need), so I have five questions that drive me crazy:
– First of all, how can I change the names “next page” and “previous page”, which are shown at the bottom of product lists? For example I am using Bulgarian, but I am making an English site, so I need it translated.
– Secondly, how can I change the distance between the product attributes- they seem to be very close and look like one field.
– Do I need to create a page for every single product and product category. Currently I have a page named “products” and nothing posted in it. But somewhere in the settings I set the products to be shown on that page. But I have read that I have to paste shortcodes on pages. So I got a bit confused.
– Also how can I remove the sort bar from category pages?
– And the last question is how can I change the width of the two columns – one with product description, the second one is the image- because I have lots of unused space with those margins.
Please have in mind, that I am using a Sydney child theme, created by me, containing (footer.php) (functions.php) (header.php) product-adder.php (style.css).
Looking forward to hearing from you!

]]>First of all thank you for creating such a great plugin. I love it!
I have one small issue though: the plugin seems to affect the pagination buttons at the bottom of my blog page. When the plugin is activated, the area around the page buttons have a different color. The grey area around the page buttons is supposed to have the same color as the background off-white.
See the screenshot for details (red square bottom of screeny):

Some details for you:
My site uses the Avada theme, en the blog list on the affected page is generated with a shortcode from the Avada theme, with infinite scroll deactivated, and pagination on. On another page, I’m using the same shortcode, but have pagination set to infinite. The problem obviously does not occur then.
Please advise.

]]>This is my first post.
I am fairly new to WP I am used to doing things the Dreamweaver and MS frontpage way, anyway I was wondering if anyone can help me.
I am looking for a way to get rid of the “older posts” and the “newer posts” text links at the bottoms of the pages and replace them with something a lot easier to see like a button or something.
The theme is called “genesis” in case it is info needed.
Thanks
]]>If I can stop the new pages from dropping down at a set point, I can put links to the new ones in the last page shown on the button.
]]>I do not know how to manipulate the page buttons on the top, i.e. buttons linking to various pages within the site.
Basically, I need to center page titles inside relevant buttons; they are currently on the left side. You can see how they look here: www.silvanacinus.com
Any suggestions will be much appreciated. This is the only problem I am having with this beautiful theme so far. Thank you
