Web page layout with margins

I am creating a website using Elementor. I am wanting to replicate the layout shown here: https://cafeastrology.com/ So there is a body background color with a margin around the elements and a gap between the contents. Any ideas how this could be achieved? Would I need to add CSS?

Hi everyone,
You’ll laugh on my issue.
Actually I want to add a plugin, which automatically fetch new content/news from various sources, RSS feeds etc.
I want a structure, where these imported content don’t show on home page. Instead of that, I want to show them in a sub-section or in a different page like- NEWS, BLOG etc.
Please guide, how do I create that type of structure without installing wordpress in different directory.

Links to next/previous posts are bad placed

Hello,

On each post, Scaffold theme shows a link to the next post and a link to the previous post. Unfortunately, these links are to down, close to the footer of the page.

Wouldn’t be possible to show next post/previous post links before the comment section? So the structure of a page would be:

Blog Header
Post Title
Post Body
*Link to next/previous post* (first candidate position)
Post Footer – including tags and, on my blog, like & share buttons
*Link to next/previous post* (second candidate position)
Comments
*Link to next/previous post* (current position – the worst!)
Blog Footer

I thins this would be much better. Thank you!

grammar website: The smartest structure (categories, links etc?)

Hi, I’m building a website for students of English grammar and vocablary my questions is this:

I want the Hierarchy of the website to have 3 levels like this

1. Grammar, vocabulary, punctuation,
2. (verbs, nouns, adverbs etc. ) , (business vocab, travel vocab etc)
3. (verb posts, noun posts, adverb posts) , (vocab… )

So when you land on the front page you what you see are links for the first 2 levels of hiearchy:
Grammar (verbs, nouns, adverbs), Vocabulary (business vocab, travel)

So my questions:
1. Should I create pages or categories for Grammar, vocabulary, punctuation such that when you press on grammar-link on the front page you are taken to a “grammar-category-page” “/grammar” that has the sub-categories to grammar. How do i do this? Can you use different categories as pages (grammar) or do you create a page called “grammar”
2. Would it be beneficial to use archives for any of these purposes?

Hey everyone so my site is NOT a news website but the pages all seem to have this “?fp_type=news” added to the end.

ie. www.MYSITE.com/page/2/?fp_type=news

When I change the theme this problem goes away, any easy tricks to removing this?

Hi there,

I’m new to wordpress but right now I’m building a wordpress/woocommerce e-shop. I had no problems with install and wordpress theme. But when it come to pages/ main menu and product categories it stoped.

I want that I will have several main pages as shop pages like FURNITURE, WALLPAPERS,LIGHTING, BATHROOM. Under what I need to put categories for example FURNITURE>SOFA>SOFA collection DEVON. For main menu I think I’m clear that need them make as pages/shops. And under that main menu I can’t understand what to do. On the SOFA I need only to show product collections under what I need to show description of collection, all options of that product collection (fabrics, arms, legs, etc.) and ready e-shop products.
How shoud I do, make pages and subpages? Mix pages and product categories, if it’s at all possible? Hope You get what I need.

wiki embed ruins page structure

Hi.
I am using the Twentyeleven theme with WelcomeWiki for integrating a bussiness wiki with wordpress. lately I have noticed (maybe result of recent update?) that pages with embeded wiki pages have a strange behavior: the footer comes after the main content section closing in a way that riuns the whole footer area, thus completely scrambling archive pages. I have also noticed that there is some problem with content coming after embeding (it is not displayed). I tryed to dive into the code but I could’nt find the reason for such strange behaviur.
