Siteground (hosting site): 33k
StatCounter App: 21k
Monster Insights: 13k
Siteground hosts the site, and they should have accurate numbers, but Monster is a very popular plugin that uses Google Analytics, so it should be very accurate too. Why is there a discrepancy?
How can I tell which source is accurate?
Is there possibly something in Google Analytics/Monster Insights that I need to adjust?
Is there a more reliable tool?
]]>For example, in a given month Advanced Ads will report, say, around 1.4 million impressions for a particular ad over the course of the month, while Jetpack will report that my site received around 318,000 page views that same month.
I know that sometimes the same ad will appear in two spaces on the same page, and that a visitor’s scrolling up and down on a page may result in multiple impression counts for the same ad. However, the discrepancy seems larger than these could account for.
Am I correct in thinking this discrepancy indicates a problem? If so, does anyone know what the problem is and how to resolve it? Thank you.
]]>Is it possible that in GA4 analytics, Homepage is accurately tracked – because it opens before users give consent – and after that , the next pages that they click are not because the explicit consent for analytics is not given ?
All explanations much appreciated, thank you.
]]>Yesterday, without a warning, it stopped displaying the page visits. Meaning the x most visited pages users visited in the overview section. It is not available in the screen options (I have checked all of them, and then unchecked everything I don’t need.) Any ideas?
Can’t see in the changelogs that you decided to abandon this feature.
Our previous infinite scroll plugin was able to record each post view on scroll as a pageview in GA, and would also show the related post url at the top of the page.
How can this be set up with the Ajax load more plugin? Since switching plugins our page views have absolutely tanked and we have advertisers to report to.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

Notes:
– I tried to enable/disable “use global site tag” option. Same bad result
– I use a manual GA3 tracking code (working ok for GA3). Tried to disable, and same bad result.
What could be the problem?
Thanks for your time, regards.
