I’m a Newb, i thoroughly researched, what would be the best Page Builder for my future business endeavors. All the major designers listed feature comparisons stated Blocksy Companion was the most complete and versatile Builder. I am experimenting with the features and have yet to be disappointed. I also purchased Scalable Pro as recommended. I’ve been Busy viewing tutorials of dual use. (need more). Colibri Page Builder stuck on “Loading… Please wait”

As the subject suggests, I’ve purchased the Lifetime Pro version of the Colibri WP theme. But I cannot customize it because the required PageBuilder plugin just hangs on “Loading. Please wait” with a spinning circle.

Things I’ve tried:

Deleting and reinstalling the plugin
Deactivating all other plugins
Using the free non-pro PageBuilder as a test
Using a different browser with no previous cache or cookies

I’m at a loss for what else I could possibly do here, but it seems this non-functioning plugin is required to edit the theme, which is a real show-stopper.

I’ve opened a support ticket hours ago, but have yet to receive a response. Please someone help.

I applaud you for making this pagebuilder! It is amazingly technical and functional. It gives me more option to create even than elementor does! It is in a tight competition with elementor and by far the best gutenberg page builder. I absolutely love it, I bought the query addon and I would recommend it every time I’d be asked. Well done Wpsoul! Also, the caching plugin (lightspeed) seems to like the code from greenshift more than elementor’s, I don’t know why but it seems more compatible. My listing site gets 97 100 100 100 from google pagespeed, so yeah. Well done! I salute you.

WP Rocket already does a lot to improve performance, but the bloat of WPBakery or Elementor remains. Here Debloat delivers an enormous increase in speed even with standard settings. In fact, 5 stars are not enough here. Thanks for the great plugin.

Impreza: How to upgrade WPBakery to a working page builder

A customer hired me to edit their existing website that uses the Impreza theme with WPBakery page builder. Trouble is, that WPBakery does not work properly, it seems more buggy than the Guteberg block editor and I have a hard time using their visual editor. There is no hierarchical structure view, no proper source view (apart from a classic editor full of bloated shortcodes), drag and drop does not work for rows, and the preview is broken for many elements, especially those that display dynamic data or use background images, paddings and margin.

Sorry if this reads off-topic or like a rant (which it is), but how do those manufacturers dare to charge money for their software? I would like to upgrade my customer’s site to the block editor and full-site editing, which seems like the lesser evil now, but I fear that’s not supported by Impreza theme and might make the existing site worse.

Questions: What’s the recommended alternative to Bakery, and what is the best practice to upgrade a site like that to a more maintainable state, without breaking the existing content and style? Is there a migration tool from WPBakery to Gutenberg?

Beaver Builder layout.css/js 404ing

Hi,

I’m having an issue with Super Page Cache and Beaver Builder where the cached pages seem to want to point to old versions of Beaver Builder’s layout.css which causes the page content to look broken. Clearing the cache solves the problem but it quickly returns.

I can see in the console the layout.css (and layout.js) files 404ing. Is this plugin still compatible with Beaver Builder? Oddly I’ve never had the issue before outside of just this one site and it only started happening over the last few months.

I tried excluding the /cache/ directory from Super Page Cache and enabled the “Proxy Cache Clear” setting in Beaver Builder without luck.

Any tips? Would love to keep using this amazing plugin.

A really very good plugin. Many competitors promise a lot and can’t deliver. The plugin here is even so well designed that it works well with page builders like AVADA, even if the hooks have changed or because you have created a layout in AVADA, everything works.
