I’ve been using this security plugin for more than three months on a new website and for more than two years on another website. I never got any problem with it (except a few lockouts that have been resolved). However the problem I’m facing now is new to me and I’m trying to understand if the iThemes plugin is involved.
From yesterday around midnight (GMT time), the new website is not accessible anymore and I get a blank page with a “pageok” message instead. By doing some research I found out that is seems to be a common issue with godaddy DNS servers and my website is hosted on godaddy.
I call their support team twice (the problem is still unsolved at the moment I’m writing). What happened is that the IP address of the DNS servers was changed but it remains a mystery concerning who did it. I changed the password for the godaddy admin page in case someone managed to hack that (but somehow I doubt that is the case).
During my second talk with godaddy support, the technician told me that my htaccess file was unusually large and it seems that the iThemes plugin made some changes with IP addresses that could have caused the whole issue (it’s a theory more than an actual answer).
So my question is: if the iThemes plugin is allowed to write on the htaccess file, can it mess up with IPs and cause the website to be completely down? Or is the goddaddy guy’s theory wrong?
Thanks to anyone that will comment or give me an answer.

I deleted and reset, but the same thing happens. If I create a /deals2/, it redirects properly.
I tried flushing out the plugin and clearing the cache, but no change. I checked the domain records to make sure there wasn’t a redirect. Multisite does not have a “Deals” subdomain to inhibit.
Thoughts?

We have two big problems that are messing with our work and as it seems our web-developer cannot find the solution.
1. PAGEOK error. It shows on several our pages. We rad that it is GODADDY problem, we call them, they set up SSL Certification (on 5th of February) and still tell us that this is problem in coding not with them. What is the problem!?
2. Some pages do not want to load to edit at all!!! Nor we can write any posts.
Any help is more than welcome!!!
Thank you all!

I didn’t do a clean install to keep the original site up (ironbladeonline.com) so WordPress forced me to use subdomains.
The install seems to have gone according to the tutorials until I add a new site. The original site works fine, but when I add additional ones like ae.ironbladeonline.com the problems start.
I can see the ae.ironbladeonline.com on the network side – but when I try to go to the dashboard I get a “pageok”:

pageok

When I searched online most results said I couldn’t do have the wildcard DNS configured with GoDaddy – so I created each subdomain manually.
I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong and I don’t know if it’s an error on the wordpress installation or not.
My web host is Go Daddy.
What has gone wrong? Is it a WordPress problem or a Go Daddy problem?
Thank you.
