Since several months we only can link a new page to posts in another language not the same page .
Already linked pages are ok, but not new pages – whats the problem, I only get posts not pages?

Hello,

since we have also a blog and posts on the website, polylang doesnt show page suggestions in the “Laguages” box anymore (page – right sidebar). It was working when we only had pages on our website.

post_tr_lang is only searching in posts not pages?

Listing items issue when one product can be combined with more than one category

In core woocommerce when we list category page which includes more than one category e.g. my.domain.com/product-category/cat1,cat2

It shows products from the both categories. But in this plugin when I selected one product from Step 1 and that product can be pair with more than 1 categories ,so in step listing page will be like my.domain.com/product-category/cat1,cat2/?EO_WBC=1&BEGIN=XXX&STEP=2&FIRST=1001&SECOND=&CART=
But it doesn’t show me listing of both categories, it only shows me listing of cat1 (whatever is first)

So what is the way, if I want to show listing of these multiple categories on these custom pages.

Need your help. Thanks in advance.

how to activate AMP transitional mode: basic question

Hello,

I recently installed AMP for WordPress plugin.
My website is not geared toward mobile users, but as Google moved on to mobile indexing, Google is not indexing my site siting multiple issues.

So I installed AMP for WordPress and chose “Transitional Mode (formerly Paired).”
According to the support document, “The transitional mode can be enabled either via the admin screen, or you programmatically via:

add_theme_support( ‘amp’, array(
‘paired’ => true,
) );

This is my truly basic question. WHERE DO I GO to add this code? Does “Admin screen” mean WP dashboard? Where do I go from there? Or do I go to my server cPanel? It’s greatly appreciated if you could just let me know exactly where I copy/paste it. Thanks!

Single or a pair of the same variable product

Hi,

My example is a jewelry. I have a model of wedding ring. This was added as a variable product, with size variations, but just one SKU.
I′m looking for a way to show this product as a single product or a pair of it in the same page. So the buyer can select if he wants a single one or the pair of it, of course selecting the sizes of each one. I also would like to introduce a text field for inserting the Name that will be printed on each ring. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thanks a lot!!

PS: Choosing a single ring or a pair, with the same SKU, should have correct stock management.

Show QR-code in user profile page for connecting device

I have implemented Magic Password in an intranet site and for all users having access to WP Admin it works fine. I also want to have users not having access to WP Admin to pair their devices by themselves. This usergroup doesn’t have access to WP Admin so they cannot pair a device by scanning the QR-code created in the backend.

This usergroup can edit their profile using extension Ultimate Member. Is it possible to use a shortcode to show the pairing QR-code in their profile?

Moving localhost to hosting without going live for remote pair development

I am developing a WordPress site for someone, and I decided to start locally to give me more control over the development as I am doing a custom theme and such.

I am now at the point where I want the person I am making it for to start adding content, giving me feedback on designs, help me out etc. so I can work more to what he wants and not my pre-conceived ideas.

However, I don’t want the site to go live whilst I am still changing things per his request.

What I think I am after is hosting the site, migrating it all to online, but not going ‘live’, so to speak. This is so we can both work on it at the same time, to get it ready to go live.

Am I right in thinking this? How does one host but not go live?

Just hoping for general advice as I am still very new to all this.

switching domains

I’m trying to switch from my current URL sample.cflymarine.com to cflymarine.com

The server we are using is PAIR NETWORKS. I’ve already backed up my database, but i’m having trouble switching URLs.

cflymarine.com is the domain they used for their old website designed using dreamweaver. When i try to delete the domain or try using it as my url for my WP website it says “its full”.

Does anybody have experience using pair networks? Any help would be most appreciated and i don’t want to lose my information.

WP wont send emails

I’ve installed WP probably 50 times and each time it has sent emails by default, except for enom which disables any sort of sendmail.

For the first time I’m trying to host with pair.com. They use qmail instead of sendmail, but I’m not sure if that makes any difference. I’ve got WP installed and running, but it wont send emails.

Any ideas why or where to begin with troubleshooting? I contacted pair support but they said they don’t provide support for issues related to WordPress.
