Can the plugin handle partial payments for the same order?

We have some custom functionality on our website where deposits can be paid for products which are available to pre order. (I’m not using an existing plugin for this, it’s a custom built plugin)

When the product returns to stock, we then send out an email with a payment link to the customer requesting a payment for the outstanding amount, the link takes the customer to the Order Pay Endpoint with updated order totals (e.g. excluding the deposit amount). This all works as expected.

We’ve had a customer pay the outstanding amount via the Order Pay endpoint using Stripe, but the transaction is missing entirely from the Stripe dashboard, despite the process adding a new note to the order with the information “Order charge successful in Stripe. Charge: XXXXXX. Payment Method: Card ending in XXXX”

I think i might be missing from the dashboard because it’s using the same Charge ID as the original transaction, i guess this value probably needs to be unique?

But I’m not too sure how I’d tell your payment gateway it needs a new charge id for this request. Ideally i still want this attached to the same order.

WP Travel Engine Integration

Using WP Travel Engine’s WooCommerce Payments Plugin. It changes the plugin’s default booking behavior to WC’s checkout process. The booking checkout is now managed by WC. The WPTE mentioned I need WooCommerce support for my particular questions. Curious about a couple of things.

I’m using WP Travel Engine partial payment add-on. It let’s folks pay a percentage up front with email reminder at a future date to pay the balance. Now that I’m using WC checkout process for the booking, will that same partial payment functionality work? If not, is there a way to provide that as an option again?

Regarding the email reminder, since emails will be generated from WC and not the WP Travel Engine Plugin, is there a way to set-up balance due/payment reminder emails in WC?

OMG! I have try almost 8-10 plugins for integrate advance payment system, But they don’t work properly what i want. Finally I found this plugin and it’s work perfectly for my work. But 1 issue here i think, in wocommerce order page its shows me full payment not partial payment, its a bug i think, but Mailing invoice was perfect,
However, we hopefully that, the existing problem will be fix soon,

I probably should start a new topic, but is there any way to disable partial payment on the checkout page if the balance is insufficient?

Hi, I started to see an issue with my Shopping store. I am using WooCommerce and the Deposits-Partial Payment plugin. But when payment done through deposits, it did not update “Payment Completed” option in WooCommerce order section. I have to manually update that Payment Processing to Payment Completed in WooCommerce Section. Can you help me in that?

Hi, my client has chosen a theme which has 0 support for any of the partial payments plugins I’ve tried. It creates products dynamically upon booking and it uses some ajax hook to add them to the cart and set their price while doing so.

Is there any support for partial payments in the WooCommerce Stripe plugin, or am I bust?
