I install the plugin, I set a password to one category.
When I try and fill in the correct password, I have always the same page “enter the password”.

After installing this plugin i set a category password and used it for few weeks without
any problem. But since 2 days when i fill in the correct password and pressing enter it keep saying enter password.

I’m having trouble logging in to WordPress admin and haven’t found an answer to this specific problem.

I can log in to my main page admin no problem.

I cannot log in to my staging site, which is the same login and same password. I get a message that says Error: password is incorrect. I’ve tried resetting. It still works fine for the main site and not at all for staging site.

Also, I cannot log in on my phone. The WordPress app says no such account/email. My browser on my phone does that incorrect password thing.

I’ve tried different browsers. I cleared cache and deleted cookies.

Any suggestions? I am not technical.

password protected page issue

Hello, I have this problem: I created a new site, I have one page I would like to require users to have a password to access, so I created the password.

The problem is that when I enter the password, instead of visiting the page, website sent me to wordpress sign-in page! Any suggestion?

I tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem.
– switching to another theme

but there is always this problem.

I have read other users occasionally have the same problem: after entering the correct password for the protected page, they are redirected to the main WP login screen instead of the password protected page.

Cannot access my sites

I have a site named sarcalogos.com and another named sarcalogostees.com.
Somehow I got them screwed up and now I cannot login to either one. How can I recover my passwords or reset them both? Please help.

Passwords not working for some users

I have a number of password-protected pages on my site–just using the default password protection setting on the page–and have a user who is unable to access the pages; it simply asks for the password repeatedly. (Example page: https://www.classiccityband.org/membersonly/piccolo/ )

This happens in both Firefox (Windows 7 and Firefox 37.0.2) and IE. A couple of other users have also reported some similar problems.

I am unable to replicate the problem, but am convinced that she is entering the correct password. My guess is that there is some setting on her end that is causing the problem, rather than a problem with the site since most users don’t have a problem. Does anyone have any insight on what might be causing the issue? Her browser is configured to accept cookies, including third-party cookies.

My site details: WordPress 4.2.2 running Customizr theme; plugins: Akismet, All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly, Conditional CAPTCHA, Contact Form by BestWebSoft, Jetpack, and TablePress.

Can't access cPanel or request new password

I can’t access cPanel to wordpress site since yesterday. I can’t even request new password.

The login does not give any error message just returns a fresh blank login page for attempts to login as well as request for new password.

i don’t have askimet activated, just a captcha plugin. As i can’t access my site anymore, i can’t even check what’s gone wrong.

What can I do, anyone???

Hey–Ever since we installed a SSL on our site, I have to reset my password to log into the site everytime I login. I just logged out and tried to log back in and need to reset it. Anyone else ever have this problem? I think it’s probably a local issue on my laptop. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kevin
