– ability to easily add and remove subscribers (sometimes I provide 30 day free trials)

Suggestions?

Is there any way that I can send an unique password to each person to access the blog ?
Please suggest.
Thanks
]]>I don’t like the fact that I MUST right now make it private due to reasons I won’t get into, because I want it to be easy for my readers to access and I do very much want to keep collecting comments on it by readers. Is there anything I can do to make it easier for my readers to access, and to make the process more streamlined?
Thanks!
PS: where do I see what version of wp i’m using? I have no idea!

]]>i want to make my blog password protected, that only logged in users will be able to see the blog.
once a user insert the address of the blog – the login page will be displayed if he is not logged in.
i think i need a script in php that check, in the index.php, if the user is logged in or not. i think this is how it is supposed to be, but i am not a php programmer, so if you have a better way of doing this so please tell me.
i would appreciate any help,
thx
