Many errors and ‘password’??

We used Duplicator for years , but the recent update(s) give trouble. For one site yesterday this:

Restoring on new domain needs a password and the name of the .zip. When making this is an option that I left blanc as always. Even if I only want the database restored
Manual check shows that about 60% of the content in the zip file is missing.
For some uploads the domain is not changed to the new one (this was about 1 month ago). This concerns .mp4 and .m4v files.

And in the last version the interface is bad. The old one was clean and quick.

I finished the process yesterday by manually downloading the database, edit the domain, upload. And before I had uploaded all files and manual edited the config file.

Password protected properties

On the property pages I added a column with Elementor showing a calendar connected to the a booking engine. My problem is that when I set a password to the property, only the content that comes from Estatik is hidden but not the column that contains the calendar. How can I prevent this from happening? The password should close the entire page and not just what is related to Estatik.

Password not remembered

Hi,

I have a registration page for professionnel clients that sets the user type and directs them t their catalogue.
All works fine BUT the password is not being saved. Once logged out the client is presented with the password not valid message and is obliged to request a new password.

I have been obliged to redirct to the lost password routine. Once the routine of clicking the link in an email and resetting their password is done the password is definitive and works fine.

This is a clumsy workaround for a problem that should not exist. Can you help me resolve the issue please?

I have installed wordpress site on a lemp stack and attempted to restore a site that had been backed up by updraftplus in dropbox. I installed the updraft plus and began the restoration which got as far as restoring the database and then gave me the message that I had been logged out and had to log in again. Unfortunately, the password has been changed, corrupted or otherwise lost and I can no longer access wordpress. And since I am the host and administrator, and the server is in my basement, there is no one else to ask.

I tried the reset my password option, but it didn’t recognize my email.

I looked in the mysql database and found two usernames for my site’s database, neither of which I entered. The passwords are, of course encrypted, so I can’t read them.

Is there anyway of resetting my username and password? If I have to go through mysql to do it, how do I manage the password encryption, or can I ignore that?

I really don’t want to go through the installation process all over again. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

With a new registration the new member get’s an email tot verify their account.

Then, when clicking on the link the new member goes to:

and then this page (see screenshot) wil appear (sorry, is in Dutch). It says that the link is not valid to change te password (wachtwoord).

But I want to see something like “your account is activated! Have fun!” .

Can someone help me out?

Auto approval and auto login

Hi, I’m a new user and trying the default registration form and selected the option “Auto approval and auto login” to keep things simple. The plugin is working except when [any] new user logs out and tries to log back in WordPress will not accept the password. I must go into their profile as Admin and reset their password then they can log in again. Anyone else have this issue? Maybe I’m missing something in the documentation?

I just relunctantly created this new login on www.ads-software.com because I can’t seem to log in with the old one. I would really rather do that. None of the things I thought were right passwords work. Clicking to get a new password says it sends the request to my email, but I’ve checked all email addresses and that email never shows up. I could just go forward with this new one, but it’s different than my wordpress.com account which uses the old username I had. I’d like my usernames for www.ads-software.com and wordpress.com.

Admittedly, I haven’t tried to login to www.ads-software.com on my recent computers, but the password should be saved correctly and wasn’t.

Question is, is there someway to get some kind of help from whomever maintains www.ads-software.com? I hate two-step verification, but right now I wish that wordpress did it.

I can not login to wordpress to update my company’s website. It’s been a few years since last time I logged in and I do not recall changing the passwords. When I request reset (forgot password), I never receive an email. How can I claim my account back? I need to make updates on my website. Thanks.

Translations not loading

Hi there,

I’ve translated the plugin to Bulgarian with PoEdit, and created .po and .mo files, which I’ve uploaded to the plugin’s language directory here: /wp-content/plugins/frontend-reset-password/i18n/languages

But when I open a page with the password reset form, the translations are not showing up, and everything appears in English.

My page has the Bulgarian language tag set as follows:

And as far as I’m aware the translations have the correct text-domain as follows: frontend-reset-password-bg_BG.mo

My site doesn’t have caching, and I’ve tried in a private window too.

Can you help me troubleshoot this?

Users are unable to reset their passwords

I’m facing an issue where users are unable to reset their passwords. The reset email isn’t being sent. I’ve checked the email settings, and everything seems fine.

Could this be related to the plugin, or should I contact my hosting provider?
