Change password complexity

It is understood that password complexity does improve security, but we want to define that as we want it. We cannot find anywhere how to change the password complexity requirements.

It isn’t good for business if we cannot customize products we use. Please provide instructions on how to change the password complexity to suit our customers’ requirements, not yours.

Login in puzzle

I am creating a WordPress site on localhost.
I am rather puzzled by some aspects.

Sometimes when I try to open https://localhost/*******/wp-admin/ it opens the page correctly.
Sometimes I am required to enter the database username and password.

This happened recently so I opened wp-config.php to see the password and found the password was not there, so it was a refer to my notes.

Am I doing something wrong please?

Restricting pages to list of users with individual passwords

Hi, I am wanting to set up a WordPress site for our members to access our courses, which are in the form of PDF files. I dont wnat to use an LMS plugin because we dont use many of their features (e.g. no quizes and no payments) and they seem to overcomplicate the prtocess of uploading a new course. At the moment I have a simple process: create a new static page for each course, upload the PDF files from the media repository. We will have about 90 courses, each with 8-10 modules (PDF files) so I will probably use a plugin that helps me organise them into folders.

The problem is that the courses should only be available to paid members. But the banking, user registrationm and assignment of passwords will be done on another external website. So we need to send the imforation from that to our course website, and process this so each user can enter their own password to be aboe to view the site.

I tried to search for a plugin that could handle this, but they all seemed to want to do the processing of the user registration on the same site. Has anyone come across a plugin that will do what I am aiming to do?

Password changing on checkout, for only some users

Hello,

With every purchase, some users get an email that their passwords have been changed e-mail and they lose access to the site.

Simultaneous to the “order received” email, they also receive a “Password Changed” email after every purchase.

This has been going on for quite some time

This happens with onlya handful of customers, and my products are virtual.

I run a site with a several plugins and need to accept orders, so I cannot disable other plugins or the them – as we are actively selling at the moment.

Any idea of what could be happening and what is triggering it?

A Simple Necessary Plugin for Login Passwords

I have had another plugin installed to handle the allowed strength and parameters for new or reset users’ passwords for a few years, but it did not show the user what the parameters were. That makes it rather difficult for the user. Melapress Login Security plugin displays the allowed parameters (length of pw, allowed special characters, etc.) This is a simple plugin that is necessary for admins to set exactly the parameters for passwords when a user sets a new or resets their password. Nicely done.

I removed AIOFirewall but it seems to have altered my config files

At one point I installed AIO Firewall but decided to uninstall. Recently this became an issue when I changed my database passwords within Cyberpanel. I assumed these passwords would be within wp-config.php, but when I went there, I found:
