Home page layout issues for past post image thumbnails

I want to make the images of all my post excerpts to be large square ones like my recent smoothie post that I wrote after transferring the site from wordpress.com. https://verdantpantry.com – Right now past posts have small full image thumbnails and the text goes over to the left under them, but new posts have larger square image thumbnails and that’s the way I want all of them to look.

Missing posts

All of my past posts are gone in the Admin WP. They are still live on our site but I used to be able to see all of them in the admin and no it says “no posts”. Not sure if it happened before or after we changed the name from “Blog” to “News” or before or after I updated the recent plugins and updated to 4.0. It definitely happened in the last 2 weeks, around one of those changes. Help!

I’m afraid if I add a new post and update, it will erase all the previous posts online.

Can Share This (or any of the share plug ins actually) be used retroactively? In other words, once I activate the plug in, can I have it on all my past posts, and not just current and future posts?

Putting WinerLinks on previously published posts

hi. I use WP 2.8.2 and dfblog, as my theme.

How do I create a section on my main page, below my “Latest Publication”, that arranges my past posts in chronological order, from first to latest?
I’m hoping to have my “Latest Publication” at the top of my Home Page – and directly below that, to have my entire blog from start to finish, so that someone can simply follow it like a book – rather than going to the bottom and reading backwards.

how to only show future posts in a cat

I have a category for events which is set up to display posts in reverse order so that the most upcoming events show first. I’ve already figured out how to display future posts, but now my concern is how to not show posts from the past on the home page once the events have already gone by?

For instance, there are a list of events, the top one being on August 25th. August 25th passes and that event/post will remain there but I want it to disappear so that the most upcoming event is always displayed first.

Any suggestions?

I would simply delete the events once they occur but I’d like to keep all of them for viewing on the category page. For this I’d simply like to create something to use in the events category loop I’ve made on the home page.
