I’m using the free version of this plugin. My issue is when I add one product to a specific video for users to pay for this content, but it does not restrict the user.. The video starts playing without the user paying.

Right now i have found www.wordpay.io as a plugin to do this.
Also its good that its looks like it working in Swedish aswell.

Do you guys have any other suggestions?

Thinks that are important to me is design, and that its secure, also no fixed fees.

Showing too many related product in homepage

Hi, Pay for Post has been a great help for my staging website so far. At first, it works really smoothly, the cart only shows after I click the post and it allows the post to show the excerpt of the post as the teaser for the reader. But I am not sure what happened, now the homepage will not show the excerpt instead of showing all the product thumbnail which taking too much space. Is there anything I can do with this?

Hi, I really like the plugin. I am trying to run a “pay per post” website where a lot of authors can sell their content, however I found out that even after I limited access to product in woocommerce menu, all the products still shown up in post editor. Is it possible to limit the access for authors to see their products only even in post editor? I tried to snip the code:

Can’t exclude Word Count from Payment

I am setting up the plugin and I keep UNchecking “Words Payment” because I don’t want the number of words to be included in the calculation. I strictly want to pay per post and pay per page view.

Every time I UNcheck “Words Payment,” it doesn’t stick. The next time I open the Options dashboard, it is checked again.

How do I EXCLUDE word count from payment calculations?

I installed WooCommerce plugin and your plugin. I set any parameter in two plugins. But when I click on the post set with your plugin I read the message I set in Pay per Post plugin but I don’t see any button to checkout.
What is wrong?

Transaction problems / Admin payment email notification problem

Hi, I’ve some Qs / problems I need help with.

In testing the plugin I’ve set it up and made a payment via paypal.
It worked, and I received a notification email saying payment has been made. I checked Paypal and it had.

The thing is, I’ve now been getting a load more of them since (email notifications saying payment received) and they’re not stopping. I’m not receiving multiple payments, just the email notification. The site’s not live yet so nobody else has made a payment, just my test payment.

Also, that payment didn’t appear in the transaction log.
And, although when bank transfer orders were made they appeared in pending, once approved or rejected they didn’t appear in the log anywhere, they just disappear.

I mean obviously I have a log of the payment in paypal, and for bank transfers I have a log of the post (it’s payment per post I’m using) until I approve it and approve the post (you have to be logged in to post so email is there to send invoice etc) but this doesn’t seem right for the transactions to then disappear; surely they should all appear / remain in the transaction history? Is this correct plugin behaviour?

I have set product and i have set a product in my post with id as in the guide. Now, if i go to the post, i can read it and i haven’t paid it.

How can i set this ?

If I have the standard [product_page id=”{{product_id}}”] in the WooCommerce Pay Per Post settings and visit a protected page and click on “Add to cart” I get redirected to a 404 error on “mydomain.com/my_page/null” and then when I click back and “Add to cart” again I get “You cannot add another ‘product_name’ to your cart” together with “‘product_name’ has been added to your cart.”

It might be working but it seems like some kind of bug when you have to click “Add to cart” twice. Is this a problem with WooCommerce 3.2.3?
