Hi! I’m developing a WordPress website that uses the Workup theme, and I have a problem with one of my products which is of a package type. So, basically the website is an internship platform that connects the employer to the candidates of applicants. Now on the employer side, we have job packages: This package states how many job posts an employer can do with a certain package as it has 3 of them (Professional, Standard, and Premium) to be displayed for a particular number of days and etc. Now, if you submit a job post at first, of course, you will need to purchase a package then go to the checkout page, however, when the employer posts another (2nd) job he/she still get directed to the posting package and then the checkout as if the employer needs to do the same process again. The expected behavior should be if he/she already purchased a package with a number of the job posting (not completely used yet) he shouldn’t be asked to go to the job posting package back. I don’t know to go about this really. I hope you can help me Thank you so much!

Store owner needs to approve order before payment is processed

I am setting up an WooCommerce store that sells digital services such as web design and copywriting.

I am finding it really difficult to find a solution that will enable me to setup a sales system that will follow the process outlined below

Sales process for new clients
1. Registration
2. Client makes an order
3. My business approves the order- this is the step I’m stuck on
4. Client pays for the order

Is there an extension or settings that I can implement that will allow me to do this?

These are the specs for my online store
Platform WordPress 4.9.6
eCommerce platform WooCommerce 3.4.1
Payments Stripe
Accounting Xero

If this has been posted before, or I’ve missed a basic setting to establish this arrangement, I am very sorry. However any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Payment Pending Issues

I have been using Woocommerce for a couple years now and I’m still unsure of what the pending payment status means. I know it means the customer placed the order and it has been unpaid, so I guess I’m more unsure of why the payment wasn’t received if they put all their information in and selected pay.

I have customers who have inserted their information multiple times and I see the orders on the backend, but again with the status of payment pending and am unsure how to resolve this.

Is there something I can tell my customers so this issue doesn’t keep happening?

Shopping cart a payment

Hi, I’m having trouble activating the shopping cart icons and completing the activation of the payment process.
When I click on the cart picture of the selected product, the action takes me to a page with just that product on and the opportunity to ‘leave a reply’. Clicking ‘next’ or ‘previous’. Just takes me into the next product.
I just need to know how to activate the order and payment process. Right to the end.

payment posting process broken

Looks like a recent update to WordPress has broken something in your payment posting process. After our first registration and PayPal payment to an event that I setup yesterday, I got the following email with this subject/body.

Instant Payment Notification – Failure
An instant payment notification was received but not posted!

When I look at the payment in Payments, it shows a status of “No Payment Received.” I tried adding the payment manually but get the following error.

There was an error in your submission, please try again. The payment was not saved! Column ‘payer_status’ cannot be null.

How are group payments made with PayPal?

How do the payments work with paypal? Typically, with something like Authorize.net, you would have an authorization performed, and then the hold would be placed until the minimum number of buyers is reached, and then a capture would be issued for each. Does this work the same for PayPal?

window of "Payment for course" display my home page

Hey,

I have an issue in payment process. When I click on enrollment button the window “Payment for course” is displayed but the content is my home page and not the payment button.
So student can not pay to enroll in courses.

For information, when I have desactivated all my plugins the behaviour is identical.

My version of namaste LMS is the last one : 1.5.5

Have you any ideas where issue comes from ?

Woocommerce address before payment

Hi,

I am a newbie in Woocommerce. I am building an ecommerce site with this plugin.

My problem is simple, but I can’t find any option to display what I want.

I would like that the customers following the payment gateway have to fill their data (address, phone, etc.) before paying.

Actually that’s not the case on my e-boutique. During the process, they can avoid to fill these information and pay, which is a big issue for me.

Is there any option to precise in the admin for that, diplaying a warning message like “***please precise data before payment***” that prevent them to proceed to any payment ?

Or may be a payment gateway with one step for one page, like we can find in many ecommerce site ? Is there any add-on for that ?

WooCommerce – payment process – order first

Hi – I am using a WooCommerce plugin with WooTheme on my site. can’t use inventory control (client doesnt want to do that). I need for the order to come through – without payment – then complete order in backend.. on complete send a link to customer via email with payment link to payfast & amount.
So -How can I change it that the payment is only done AFTER I have confirmed the order in the backend?
