After updating the PDF Embedder plugin to 4.7.1, the pdf is no longer displayed.
Instead of not being displayed, only a link to the pdf is generated.
I am using the following shortcode, but is the shortcode no longer available?

[pdf-embedder url=”**”]

Can I continue to use the shortcode if I use the paid version of the plugin?

I am on version 6.4.3 of WordPress.
I am using the Classic Editor plugin.

I am a newbie doing a not for profit site for a local group. I have endeavored to display uploaded pdf files in my posts and this is what I keep getting. https://greenwichneighborsunited.com/letter-to-kasich/
I have googled, searched the forums and it seems that I am the only one having this problem? I’m sure that is not the case as I said I am only 5 months at this. I rely heavily on plugins I am not a coder. Thanks in advance for your help!

PDF media not found 404

I have uploaded PDFs to my media library but can no longer see them on my member’s pages when a link has been created, but previous PDFs on the pages are viewable. I am running WordPress 4. I only add PDFs every 4 months and all was fine in 3.9.2
Does anyone know how to fix please.

I have managed to create and upload the app to my mobile device manually. However, the PDF on my blog page does not show on app.

I have one page on my blog named “Pipit ID” and one pdf listed on that page with the same name. Blog address: https://birdwatcher.co.za/news.html

Hello. I’ve been using this plugin for almost a year and it’s always worked great. All of a sudden beginning today, my PDF files no longer display on the page or on the full page viewer on some Windows browsers. It does this in Chrome, in Explorer the page doesn’t seem to want to completely load, but still works great in Firefox. Not sure what the problem is, but I’ve tried this on two different PCs – one is running Windows 8.1, the other Windows 7 – same results on both.

I use the plugin once on this page:

Any idea why this may be occuring? Thank you.
