This is a fantastic plugin for displaying PDF files on your WordPress website.

Don’t waste time looking for other plugins, i did and found this one. I only wish i found this plugin first, easy to use and works everytime.

MIssing anchor text for PDF link

I noticed that when the plugin embeds the pdf, there is no anchor text to the link.

The link looks like this:

Is there a way to add anchor text? Perhaps another option to add (in addition to width and height)?

PDF not rending information – Blank and 173 pages long

The problem that I am having is that the PDF is entirely blank and its always 173 pages long for some reason. No information is being rendered at all. Would you be able to help me figure out this display problem? I have removed all custom settings to see if it was something that I did, nothing seems to have a difference.

We are currently using version 4.2.7 of WordPress on this site.

I’m using wp_pdf.js to upload pdfs into my portfolio. I’m using a nimble portfolio plugin and sixteen nineteen theme with genesis framework. My website is www.simplescribble.co, page link is: https://www.simplescribble.co/webinar-landing-page/

When I use my iPhone to view it cuts off half the image. How do I make the plugin or portfolio entry responsive?

Also, if the pdf is a single page, how do I remove the pagination at the bottom of the portfolio page?

Under Construction Plugin

Hi,

I’m trying to get this to work with the underContruction plugin but the under construction page shows when adding “/pdf” to my post.

I trying this while logged in as Administrator. It was working fine few weeks, but maybe an update is creating this problem.

I Also tried the “?pdf” and “/?pdf” parameters, but the page redirects to “/pdf” and page under construction shows.

Is there any way around this?

Auto extract image from PDF file

Hello I am looking for a way to automatically extract or “grab” an image of the 1st page of a pdf file to make a thumbnail. Without having to go through hundreds of pdfs and make a jpg of the cover page hundreds of times.

My website will be a resource tool for employees where they can navigate to their specific file and then be able to download the pdf for viewing. There are hundreds of pdfs and it would take a very long time to go through each one and save the cover page as a jpg and then resize it and place the image and link it to the file. The pdfs may be very large files such as catalogs. (im not sure if that matters)

Is there a plug-in or any way to go about this?

The new version of WP2PDF, the WordPress to PDF converter, has been released. The update includes a rewritten HTML conversion part. Tables are now supported, as well as many other HTML-tags that have not been supported before. There are also some other smaller improvements and bug fixes.
