Two level permalinks structure for pages. How?

Hello.

I need to create two level url for wordpress pages (not posts).
For example site.com/hosting/windows or site.com/hosting/unix
There is no problem to create such url for post, but what about pages?

Is it any way to do that?

Links to other sites getting a 404 error

Hi,

I have links set up to other outside pages but they result in a 404 error,
pretty sure its to do with Permalinks or something similar as it is because instead of re-direction to www.newsite.com it directs to
https://mywebsite.com/mypage/www.newsite.com

It was when I changed Perma links to Post Name as I wanted the links to be by postname for easier Google search.

Is there a way I can keep Permalinks with PostName and also use links within text to outside sites?

I’ve got a blog with the Yoast SEO plugin that I configured per Steve Wiideman’s youtube tutorial ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOjY4LVoghE )

In attempting to solve a Google authorship problem I tried what I *think* is referred to as a “null edit”, I’ve read where to get Google to notice or observe that you just made a change somewhere within the internal site structure, it was recommended that we go into Settings => Permalinks and change the permalinks (change to anything other than what you had, save, then change it back to the way you had it)… this was alleged to prompt a ping (or something to that effect)

Well I did that
now my custom structure refuses to save?

What choices do I have to remedy this?
remove the Yoast SEO plugin perhaps?

I’ve installed my theme on ninatina.com/nt/
Now when I want to add a page the main url link will be ninatina.com/nt/
and the url of the page will be ninatina.com/nt/pageexample.

How can I change the main Link ninatina.com/nt/ in ninatina.com.

I’ve been in the process of moving from Userland to WordPress for a while and have gotten my layout and homepage the way I want it. I wanted to change because of the support of tags, podcasting and the future, things that Userland were at the forefront of at one point but now have lagged in. Here are my questions…
1) I want to be able to have my podcasts post to the home page and then to another separate podcasting page with a unique feed. I understand the category listing and have created one, but in looking into it, the ability to take a category and have a single archive page has stumped me…

2)I have a 16 year collection of personal writing/poetry that I am porting over as single pages/permalink type posts and would like to create a friendly directory page for them with links arranged by year and date. This is a big hang up for me as I’ve always wanted the directory structure to be simple to navigate but also wanted single files for each.
