Using Photosmash to create user specific galleries

I am kind of new to this plugin. I’ve read everything about it but I am not sure if it will help me achive my goals so I wish to consult you.

My final goal is that registered users will have a page of their own that includs a gallery. When the user submits a new picture, the admin will recieve a notification for verifying/editing that picture and after the approval/edit of the admin, that picture will be loaded into the personal gallery of the registared user.

Can this be achived using Photosmash ? Thanks.

Hey, I’ve got an issue that when I visit the site and come back to the dashboard, Photosmash creates an empty gallery. I delete it, go back to site, return to dashboard and there it is again.

What can I do about it, is there a setting that I overlooked which takes care of this?

I started out a new website/ project. Anybody is allowed to upload images to the website and leave a short massage.
My questions:

How can I limit the caption to 140 characters (otherwise the uploads can write too long text)
How does the default upload form HTML look like
Alternatively: can I do this with the custom form, again with a text limit of 140 characters (that I have not managed to run, as others describe in this forum)
Where can I finde the information on, what files are allowed to be uploaded

It would be great, if you have any idea, how I could manage the 140 character limit.

i installed the plugin in order to create a user friendly gallery so , visitors of my website can upload their photos ( site is for tours trips , i need member to upload their photos during the visit )
but i need to make it in good looking way,

1- is it possible that it can be light box cruiser to move between them without closing and opening
2- i need to custom the Add photo button to a bigger, better looking shape
3- i need only to show the user who uploaded the photo and date.

so few tutorials about the plugin and it’s bit complicated

Thumbnail picture link issue caused by Azure storage

Hello,
First of all – awesome plugin!!!!!

I use Azure hosting that stores the uploaded pictures separate from the wordpress database. The Photosmash plugin works fine, however when the user uploads the picture, and its thumbnail is displayed to her, when she clicks on it, the link points to the regular wordpress link (wp-content/uploads/2015 …etc) which gives an error message. In the Media library, the uploaded file shows up correctly and the file URL is totally different – the one correctly referring to the set up Azure Storage place. Access rights are OK, the user could open the picture from that URL directly.

How can I modify the link where the thumbnails point to?

Blank Upload Box

Hello,

I loved Photosmash back in the day and I’m so happy it’s back. I updated to the current version but I am having just one issue. When I click ‘Add Photo’ (to upload an image), there is a pop up box to do so but it’s completely blank. I tried undoing the option for Lightbox, but then I get an error that says, “Please choose a value that is not more than 1” or something. But that might not be related. I really need to get the adding item feature back working asap. Can you please help?

I think this has the potential for what I want but am finding it quite complicated to use.
Also I have this error message in the admin:

It seems to have a weakness. Maybe? I think its an robot which scans the wp installation who has this installed.

They are scanning for the readme file so the know if you installed it.
