I’m trying to migrate a wordpress site that I’ve already exported with this plugin, but in the new site where I’m trying to import it it says that the plugin is not compatible with the php version that I have on my new server (7.0).

Didn’t work with ThemeGrill themes

Configuration parameters cannot be saved in Appearance->Widgets area, because save button erases all the parameters without saving anything.
I’m using WP: 5.3.2, PHP: 7.0, Theme: “Ample” (free version) from ThemeGrill.

Twenty Fifteen php 7.0 Compatibility issue

Hello,

In WordPress 5.3.2 when i upgrade to php 7.0 Twenty Fifteen ( 2.5 ) theme brokes down and display the above warnings:

Warning: vsprintf(): Too few arguments in wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/inc/custom-header.php on line 261
Warning: vsprintf(): Too few arguments in wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/inc/custom-header.php on line 262
Warning: vsprintf(): Too few arguments in wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/inc/custom-header.php on line 263

When downgrade to php 5.6 the theme works fine. Deactivate all plugins and the warnings remain. Switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and all works fine.

Any ideas where is the problem?

Ignite jpgs disappear after update to php 7.0, but gifs don’t!

Hi, I’ve used your theme for many years, several websites, because I really like it!

However, now that I have changed my php from 5.6 to 7.0, all jpegs have disappeared from 2 of my blogs with Ignite theme. As I am a cartoonist, this is pretty serious. Gifs are fine. All blogs share the same plugins almost exactly.

I tested all blogs with the PHP Connection Checker and they came out fine for Ignite.

I tried this 2 days ago upgrading to 7.3 php and same thing. I was hoping 7.0 might work.

Maybe it’s not the theme, not sure. I can see the jpgs once I hit edit, but I don’t know how to make them appear online any more.

Can you help, please?

When I update my site from PHP 5.4 to PHP 7.0 the plugin give me this error

Simple Calendar could not be activated.
Required PHP Extension(s) not found: iconv.
Please update to meet Simple Calendar requirements.

Can you please update your plugin?

Yep! This is the culprit. After updating to PHP 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, our site was reduced to a single error message “undefined function split()” <– Never really thought the plugin worked well anyway. The scores showed an improvement, but the initial display of our site seemed to take much longer than it used to.

Stay away.

Preferred plugin for Brute Force Login Protection

I’m sure that when I installed the OceanWP theme there was a suggested / preferred app for Brute Force Login Protection but I either didn’t install it or deleted it as I was going to use my “usual” one.

I’ve now identified that after updating to php 7.0 my old plugin won’t be compatible, so could you confirm what’s the recommended plugin for oceanwp to cover this issue for me?

Question about upgrading PHP environment

Hi! So, I upgraded one of my WordPress sites to WordPress 5.1 and after the upgrade, WordPress informed me I was using an “insecure” version of PHP. I believe PHP 5.4.x was installed in my shared hosting account at Hostgator. So, I upgraded PHP from 5.4.x to 7.0. After doing so, NinjaFirewall refused to load and I was prompted to re-configure it. I tried setting up the Full WAF and NinjaFirewall can’t load. It works fine in WordPress WAF mode.

So, I have two questions:

1) What’s the best way to change the PHP environment when NinjaFirewall is already installed?

2) How can I change NinjaFirewall from WordPress WAF to Full WAF?
