I am new to WordPress and I am guessing that this issue is something to do with the Media Library Folders plugin (which is a great plugin and seems a much better way to organise pictures than the default system in WordPress.)
Most of the websites I have on a Windows 2012 server have 10 to 40 pages and not that many pictures apart from a couple which have hundreds even many thousands of pictures.
I am in the process of moving the sites from a Windows 2012 server to a new Ubuntu server.
I have ironed out most of the issues but this is the latest to rear its head.
I have moved a Guest Equestrian (but I have not changed the DNS settings yet) and in edit mode I can see the pictures all looks fine but when I publish a page or the page is not in edit mode the pictures do not display.
The first time this happened on a different website I fixed it by going in to the html code and removing the ‘class=”wp-image-***” ‘ and that enabled the picture to appear. If I change the browser window size the picture remains responsive.
Therefore a bit of a hack but a fix no less.
However, I suspect that there must be a “better” fix than just removing the reference to class=”***”
Any suggestion on how one can move a site from one server to another and not have to remove the class reference. I am guessing that pulls through a different size version of the picture should the browser prefer that.

(It may help to know that before this i tried a theme called The Newswire and had the same issue here which is why i switched hoping to get a theme which displayed the image+post heading.) ]]>
When i drag a picture on the newsletter and when i send a test newsletter, the pictures are not displaying.
Is it normal ? The same problem is happening with the social icons.

]]>Pics on my website seem to have a problem displaying in IE (maybe all versions). I tried to force compatibility mode on with this code but that didn’t work:

If you look at the site you will see that some of the images display without a problem.
The problem images display while in ‘visual’ mode, but will not display online. The images for Sunday and Monday will display when you click on the alt text link. The image/alt text link for Tuesday responds with “504 Gateway Time-out” error.
I tried ‘permanently deleting each image, renaming them and uploading/inserting again with the same results. All suggestions welcomed!

]]>I’ve had this problem before and usually I solve it. However, I am using a premium theme Itis and everything I try seems to change nothing. It uses timthumb if that helps at all.
When I post an image it does not appear. If I click the link to where the file is, it shows it’s uploaded and I can view it. But if I go to the post, or the slider the images do not show up.

I’ve checked the cache folder it’s at 777 my uploads as well. I’ve checked my links, the images are there, but just not showing up when posted. I post a video, it’s there, but it does not show up in the slider, or in a post.
Only two images show and it’s the ‘pk’ images on the homepage.
I’ve adjusted images sizes thinking making they’re too big. I mimicked the original version and still nothing.
I’ve checked media settings in my wordpress and file paths and nothing.
Can anyone help? I’ve tried other possibilities as others have had similar problems. But so far nothing has worked.

Problem: Pictures display in posts, but not on homepage. In the Media Library some of them show sometimes, I cannot detect any rhyme or reason why some do and others don’t at different times.
Other Notes: Switching to Twenty Ten, all the pictures show up just like when someone is reading the posts individually. When switching to other templates, the problem is the same.
