I’m unable to upload any pictures to new posts. Getting this message after going through the upload process: “Unable to create directory ../media/2020/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server? ALos, one or tow older pics have disappeared.”

I can’t get new pictures to upload to my site. I have cleared the cache. I have turned off and on all the plug ins, both in bulk and individually. Pictures will not upload. They start to upload. Then the process freezes, and will stay frozen for hours. The screen doesn’t freeze. I can navigate away from the screen and back again, but no progress is made, the picture remains un-loaded to my website.

I have too much images in this mobilemag.in link .

When i have activated your plugin and tried to bulk optimization for all images , All the images disappear. I have deactivating but problem remain same.

So please could u help me ?

Can't Upload Photos- "Failed to write file to disk".

I cannot upload photos to my blog due to “Failed to write file to disk”. I updated to the latest version of WP and contacted my host who confirmed it was not a space issue. My host also uses a “cloud” server, which means I am not just on one server, so it can’t really be a problem with the server either. Is this a WordPress issue? How can I fix it? Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I’ve tried uploading a bunch of different photos, even ones I’ve uploaded before and none of them will upload. PLEASE HELP!!

When I attempt to upload a image, and click on “insert into post” the screen goes blank, the bottom left says “done” and the redirect is as follows –

I did change my permalink settings recently from the default to
/%category%/%postname%/. But didn’t change anything else.

Any idea how I can get my picture upload working properly again?

I am very new at all of this….

Media uploader not functioning

Hey,

I run a mp3-blog and upload music on a daily basis. I upgraded my wordpress to 3.0 and now the media-uploader won’t work, it used to pop up like a flash screen and you could just watch the progress-bar as it were uploading. Now it takes me to a new page and when I press the “insert into post” it just takes me to a empty page and the media is not uploaded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Media Library not working when uploading in WordPress 2.8.4

Hi All–

We operate and have installed many versions of WordPress and we have currently installed 3 fresh installs of WordPress 2.8.4. On all 3 installs we are having problems with the Media Library. The media library in not uploading the media file (images in this case) to the server nor resizing them.

We have created the “uploads” folder on the server as well as changed the permissions to fully writable 777.

Is there something that we are missing?
Is there a problem with the version of WordPress and the media libaray?
