Comments disabled but still there is this spam?

Hi all,
So I have a very strange situation here. I have comments disabled on the main settings as well as on each individual page for my clients site. https://princetonhypnotherapywellness.com/
theme is Pilcrow

I also checked my comments in dashboard so i can delete these existing comments. but the strange thing is the comment count in dashboard says 0 comments and shows no comments to be edited.

I have installed Askimet but it just doesn’t seem to make sense how come there is still a commenting box and all these comments on the site.

Any suggestions?

I have Troubles with TWO things:

1.How do I center the text?
– I have tried many things, among others I have installed custom CSS.

2: How do I remove the little “Filed under” icon at the bottom of each post?

Pilcrow theme suddenly not displaying featured header images in posts

Just within the last few days, my featured header images on specific posts have all stopped displaying. They show as featured images in edit mode and they’re all sized at 990X257, which is the right size. far as I know. I disabled all plug ins and that didn’t make any difference. Any idea how to fix this? The posts in question were all written for the A-Z Challenge in April. Here’s an example:

I tried to add a Gogle Authorship into my Function php file today. It didn’ work, so I removed it- but I can’t do ANYTHING in my dashboard now, every page says only “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in C:\inetpub\vhosts\omeletta.com\httpdocs\wp-content\themes\pilcrow\functions.php on line 40”

I have no idea what to do.

Facebook widget missing in Pilcrow…

Not necessarily new to wordpress, have created a few blogs with no problem, because I kept it simple. But this is unusual, because I decided to get rid of a customized template for an existing blog (too many bugs and not very good technical help from who we were relying on!) and switch over to the Pilcrow theme, which had worked flawlessly in another blog. The facebook widget is missing, I tried to install the wordpress facebook plugin and it did not work. Also downloaded 2 other facebook plugins and when I went to the plugins page to upload them, I get errors. I’ve gone to my updates page and everything seems to be current.

Is there anyway to restore the original facebook plugin that came with Pilcrow? The blog I’m working on is www.longmontdems.org

Please…explain it in as rudimentary way as possible. I’ve searched the forums, could not find an answer and wonder if I’m even asking for the right thing, THANKS!

Hyperlink color in Pilcrow theme

I want my links to be blue when active, unfollowed & when hovered.
Then I want them to be purple once they have been followed.
This is the original code from Pilcrow theme.

I added this.

But my links are still black when followed. Help?

How to widen sidebars

I’ve tried with no luck to find info on if and how I can widen the sidebars. I’m using the Pilcrow theme with the content-sidebar-sidebar option.

The right sides of some items in both sidebars are cut off. Is it possible to widen in CSS. I tried but ended up moving the second sidebar completely over to the main sidebar area.
