How to fix ping back comments

I recently Moved my blog from blogger to wordpress and anytime I make new post. My comments always pings back. It will be showing tons of comments. How do I fix this help.

Does Wordfence block both xmlrpc functions – pingback & wp.getUsersBlogs?

I installed and activated Wordfence hoping that it would help with disabling these two functions but I tested against both types of attacks (DDOS and Brute Force) and the site is still vulnerable.

I don’t know if it makes a difference but the WordPress site is hosted on a Windows IIS 7 server.

so, can I delete the file xmlrpc.php ?

I’m the only person that can post. Is this file used ping backs ? I don’t use ping backs at all.

WordPress site 403 Forbidden Error!

Hey there people:)
I have had my wordpress blog for over 5 months been learning the ropes and tweaking my site with no problems at all. Then about 3 weeks ago when i was checking it out and it came up with a 403 forbidden error. Before i had this problem i was getting a lot of pingpack spam comments then about 1 week later this happened. I have since deleted those comments and set to moderate comments. I am able to access my wp-admin but not see any page or article on my site. If you have any ideas of trouble shooting that would be awesome…

I have a quick question regarding pingback / trackback links. I opened up my moderation comments today and viewed Moderation Queue. The comments I’m seeing are coming from parts of pages within my blog. For example, I have created a post called contingency fee. I have about 8 comments in moderation from different parts of my blog such as my profile page and contact page. Should I delete these comments or are they good for SEO??
