Smart Update Pinger – Posts not showing up

Hi,

I am using Smart Update Pinger.
Here is the list of services I ping:
https://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2
https://ping.blo.gs/
https://ping.feedburner.com

https://rpc.weblogs.com/RPC2
https://www.blogpeople.net/servlet/weblogUpdates

The logs show that every ping is successful.
However they don’t show up in google, even days later, when I search with the blog title, which is always quite unique.
I have an older install of WordPress on an older server (cannot update). Posts are showing up in Google within hours…

The feeds are pulled from RSS feeds, the point is precisely the ping and SEO benefits. The posts are never edited or pinged manualy afterward.

Do you have any ideas of what the problem might be, or how could troubleshoot this?

A marketing course I’m using recommends adding the Smart Update Pinger plugin, but I’m not finding it here. What would be the current equivalent?

I am having difficulty uploading Ultimate Smart Update Pinger. I apparently was loaded before and tells me the folder already exists.

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /home/prich/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimateplugins.com-smart-update-pinger/

Plugin install failed.

If it is already loaded in why does it not show up as active or give me the option to activate in the plugin menu. Not sure how this should be working with my FTP program (Filezilla), do I need to use that to change the folder settings? and How?

I have uplaoded per instructions, set the permissions on the log file to 777. When I try to activate in WP I get this error message:
