Pinterest Count not showing on some posts

Hello, not sure if this is a Pinterest issue or an issue with the plugin but the Pinterest counter is not working for me on some posts (and it seems to be random which are not working).

For example, this post from last week shows a count of 100: https://www.reversewinesnob.com/kirkland-signature-series-columbia-valley-red-wine
This post, from 3 days earlier, shows a count of 0. (And it does have multiple pins that should show up including several that I did myself): https://www.reversewinesnob.com/summers-andrianas-cuvee-cabernet-sauvignon

If it is a Pinterest issue, is it possible to customize the plugin to not show a counter just for certain accounts? I’d rather have no count at all for Pinterest than these inconsistent results, but I want to keep the other counters.

Hello, the Pinterest counter is not working, it hasn’t reset to zero but there are a number of posts where I have checked to Pinterest and I know the post has been pinned more times than the counter is showing. This post is showing a counter of 1 whereas it has definitely been pinned more than that https://www.recipetineats.com/pulled-pork-enchiladas/

I am using version 4.5 which is the latest version of this plug in. I saw a thread from 8 months ago on this topic and this problem had been fixed. Is anyone else currently experiencing this problem?

Pinterest API Pin Count

In my experience, the pinterest api/pin counter that keeps track of how many pins you’ve gotten per page has not been working all the time when I use this plugin to pin images.

Any ideas on why this may be happening? I’ll give you examples of pages if you need some.

Pinterest Sharing Button Counter Not Working

The number of Pinterest shares each of my blog posts has is no longer showing up next to the Pinterest sharing buttons like it used to. The Facebook and Twitter counters are still showing – Pinterest is the only one that is not.

I tried the coding suggestion, but it didn’t work – please see the link above, as I pasted the code after I edited it. (I apologize, ideally I think it would be best to just continue that thread, but it has been resolved and I haven’t received any response to my post on it.)

Pinterest Counter Disappears

The Pinterest counter is no longer displaying. I see the count next to the button when I first click on the page but then it disappears after a couple of seconds.
I tried unchecking the “show counter” button and saving, then checking and saving again but the counter still disappears.
