Why are post planned instead of simply published?

why are new post read from source RSS being planned to publish instead of published ?

is it possible a timezone issue if source timezone is different from timezone of target WP ?

I think no, because in a situation we have about 20 posts, each planned with a delay of 1-5 minutes between each other , up to 3 hours in the future. So I think to exclude a timezone problem

I want to plan post, I choose date and press Publish.
And instead of going to publish in future it published immediately…

Media folders request

I have met quite a lot of people that wanted to use WordPress for their corporate websites but since there is not by default a media section where you can divide your media to folders, they have turned to other solutions like Drupal, Joomla and such. The media container like it is now is just like a pile of paper which has not been looked over and categorized or put in folders. My recommendation is that you update the media folder system to something similar to what people knows fram their user computers. Remember that only 1% of the users have access to the root and most of the users do not know how to enter the site with FTP and where to create a new folder. So please, don’t dissapoint us again by leaving this problem unsolved.

All my Posts are off by an hour in time (published at 9:00 on gmt+1 in sitemap is 7:00)

also one of my posts is listed as published at 1970.

Overview of all approved/pending revisions

Hi,

I like your plugin and used it a couple of times for scheduled updates to my client’s site. It worked out fine in the past.

Today I made new schedules. Email approvals arrived. I made something like 30 schedules. They’re alle approved. Now I’d like to see again which pages got planned for a schedule but there’s no overawe of approved scheduled updates….

Is there a place/page where I can see my planned schedules?

Sticky planning

I am looking for a plugin that makes a particular post sticky for a day. I manage the site of the volunteer fire department Uitgeest (The Netherlands) and now I have somewhere a post about testing your smoke alarm every first Monday of the month during testing of the air raid alarm. Only now I want to automatically make the post sticky for a day on every first Monday of the month. Is there a plugin for?
