ARMember plugin bug when chaning membership plans

I’m testing the plugin using Paypal sandbox and noticed that after a user registers and pays for a membership…

Once logged in, when a user goes to the registration page [arm_setup d=”1″] and tries to change the current plan, the plugin cancels the membership but does not take the user to the Paypal site to proceed with payment for the new plan selected (the user just sees an animated circle that only clears if you refresh the page).

ARMember support told me to replace the wp-content/plugins/armember/lib/paypal/paypal.class.php file, to clear all cache, and then to try again, but this did not solve the issue.

Is this a bug? Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a way to fix it? I’ve been trying to troubleshoot the issue for a long time, and I haven’t been able to.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Listing plans and documents – “only images” filter

Hi,
there is a filter on images only, in the file selection modal. I’d like to add PDF there. I can do it, but I can’t reuse it, because I can’t see it on the files list, after click on the “Select file” button.

How can I remove the filter? I can’t find it at the source code.

Question regarding plans

Can I pay for the gold plan to get alt tags for all past uploaded images and then once done cancel my account and those alt tags will remain saved in WordPress? I wont need it after I process all my images.

Also is it 1 credit per image alt text? or is it several credits per image??

Issues with list and plans

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some help with Directorist plugin and the use of lists and plans. I intend to import many lists using a csv file but :

-Is there a way to import a plan or assign a plan by default for each list when having the csv file ?

– Concerning the dashboard, the idea is to get a new window tabs with the option to update and modify the plan.?I there an option to do so ?

– On the list creation, is it possible to get the same form for each plan (https://www.placedudroit.com/nouvelle-inscription/) based?on the biggest plan, what?is shown on the list is set by the plan chosen. The idea is for those who will update or downgrade their plan won’t have to modify their list.

Suggestion to help build free directory listings into paid listings…

When creating a directory for niche business (random example, landscaping businesses) charging for a listing in the directory will not work until it’s proven that the website/directory has certain value (e.g. visitor traffic, etc). So it is a catch 22 situation because you need businesses to sign up and be listed in the directory to create value but you can’t charge businesses for listings before there is proven value.

Hence, the free business listing option is often the only way to get businesses to add their listings. But the website will not maximize revenue if they just give away free business listings in the directory.

What is a possible solution to convert free business listings into paid business listings? You have to show the business that they are benefiting from being listed on the directory. How do we do this? We show them visitor stats for their listing. We can show them how visitors to the directory were converted into paying customers.

It’s basically visitor analytics for each business to see what’s going on with the visitor clicks and if they are making money from being listed in the directory.

One idea… once the # of visitors to a business listing reaches X amount set by admin (2000 visitors for example) then the business would be automatically prompted to upgrade to a paid plan. If website/directory can show some basic metrics that gives businesses a good idea if their listing is generating customers/income then they will have no problem whatsoever upgrading to paid plans.

What do you think about this idea?

Order of Subscription Plans on Register Page

On my Register page, how are the plans ordered? Mine are in reverse order of what I want. Most registrations will be for the 1 Person plan, and I want that first. The plan ID’s are 165 and 166, and the plan names are 1 Person and 2 Person, so by either variable, it should be the reverse order of what it is displaying.
