Hey guys!

Just want to ask a couple questions am trying to match my current old syle site. Here is what I’m trying to figure out.

On our site @ patriotbuilds.com you will notice the background is transparent and round corners.

How ever on the new site I’m working on @ https://www.patriotbuilds.com/patriot/?page_id=44 it is not and wish it to be. Is there somewhere I can go and manually edit that in or?

Trouble adjusting font/title size with PlatformPro

I need to reduce the size of the title and text for my jobs blog site. The trouble I’m running into is with the few users of PlatformPro I’m struggling to find instructions on how to do so. Very new here so sorry of this is easy but I’m really struggling and would love to help my boss solve this problem. Any suggestions would be really appreciate it!

I really like this plugin but it’s not working for me using PlatformPro by PageLines.

I’m using WP 3.2, which I have tested to not be the problem- so it seems like the culprit is my theme.

If possible it would be great if you could make it compatible!

Nearly in Tears! Appearance > Menus is Missing Options

Hi,
I am desperate for help! I’ve spent days trying to figure this out and I am nearly in tears.

The Appearance > Menus button is visible on my dashboard, but when I click on it, it takes me to a blank page and the menu options don’t show up. My menus are still on my site, but I can’t alter them in any way. Where did the menu options go?

What I’ve tried: I just upgraded to 3.2 and updated my theme too (Pagelines PlatformPro), but was previously having this issue so I don’t necessarily attribute it to these upgrades. I have deactivated all my plugins and still have the issue. My host has the necessary PHP and MySQL versions. I have switched themes– Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven– and the problem remains.

i am, admittedly, an utter know-nothing when it comes to code and the like, hence my appreciation of the wp stuff.

that said, i got this message tonight when trying to import the platformpro default settings:
“Sorry, there has been an error.
This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number.”

now, attempting to research before i posted, i found this:

BUT, this, unfortunately, makes zero sense to me. can someone walk me through this, in layman’s terms? i just don’t get it.

I'm tempted by PlatformPro framework

I have basic HTML and CSS skills but because I only build 1 or 2 sites a year, I forget what I’d previously learned and putting even the most simple of sites together takes more time than I can afford to charge for; and usually turns out looking clunky and amateurish. So I decided to make my last 2 sites using WordPress.

Actually, I outsourced a significant portion of the work as I ran out of time and so even my understanding of WordPress is in it’s infancy.

I’m looking for a relatively quick, but standards compliant method of putting my site together and I’m drawn to the PlatformPro framework by Pagelines.

Can anyone give me some feedback on using frameworks. Are they a good starting point for a beginner? And can anyone back up my initial attraction to PlatformPro?

My worry is that all the sites I put together might end up looking similar, unless this is something I can work around.

Problems Updating PlatformPro theme v 1.2.2

Was wondering if anyone can help, I was attempting to update my WordPress theme to PlatformPro 1.2.2 when my site crashed and all I can get now is the following message. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
