Elementor editor loading issues

I have just started using free elementor with www.ads-software.com 6.4.3 on a local machine (xampp) with Linux xfce4. However, I am having a problem with loading times. The Elementor editor is taking AGES to load. Looking to purchase pro but am worried it won’t work:/

I have tried the following:

-Changing theme(slightly faster but still very slow).

-Clearing the cache

-Changed the Switch Editor Loader Method to enable.

-StartedI Safe mode and uninstalled
However, none of these resolves the issue of the elementor editor taking ages to load!

Been stuck for days! Any help would be most appreciated!

Hi, I would like to edit the AliDropship plugin. However, when I open the plugin file editor, I notice that its core PHP files are structured in the following way (as shown in the image below). Could someone please explain to me the reason behind this code structure? Is it minified?

Hi. Installed WP 6.2 yesterday. Did not find Plugin Editor and this didnt help either, because I couldnt find the line disallow_file_edit in wp-config.php.

Is the plugin editor still available? And if yes, where can I find it?

Link to plugin editor missing when using Twenty Twenty Two theme

I have a number of WP installs. They are all at 6.0.2, however the plugin editor is not available in all of them.

I have one install with zero plugins. With Twenty Twenty Two theme there is no plugin editor, however if I switch to Twenty Twenty or Twenty Twenty One, the editor is available.

If I do a grep search for DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT there are no results returned from any theme, though there are some hits in some plugins but not setting it to true. But anyway, why would that affect the menu when using one theme and not another?

Any suggestions on the cause? Is this a bug?

Hello, I have tried a few plugins to change the Checkout Words. I would rather have the normal wordpress terminology.

Instead of
Donation details – Your Billing Details
Your Donation – Your Order
Total Amount – Total
Donate Now – Place Order

Is this possible? What plugin would I use or can I edit.
Tried different Field/label Change Editors. Translate shows in Loco translate it was done but won’t show up on checkout page. So Loco won’t do it either.

Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated.

Blank Plugin Editor: search-filter.php file encoded as ANSI instead of UTF8

Hey there,

I just tried to edit the search-filter.php file in the WordPress plugin editor to change the default category html select size and realized that the file was empty in the plugin editor.

Solution: Converting the file encoding from “ANSI” to “UTF-8” in Notepadd++ solved the issue, so I could edit the file in the WordPress Plugin Editor again.

P.S.: It took me a while to realize that not all available options are listed in the plugin site in the WordPress Administrator Panel (e.g.:

) but more options are explained here:

It is probably a good idea to update the list delivered in the plugin code or add a note in the “Arguments” section of the Settings page of the WordPress instance, stating that more options are available and explained on the designsandcode website.
