SVG Support plugin

The plugin page says “This plugin has been closed as of July 16, 2024 and is not available for download. This closure is temporary, pending a full review.”

We have been using the plugin for a long time. Is it safe to continue to do so? If not, what should we use in its place and is process seamless, as we have a lot of SVG logos on our site.

Old WordPress core file were not removed during update – revisited

I received a Wordfence email saying “Old WordPress core file not removed during update”.

According to the reply to a previous post in this forum, if one gets this message one should “delete the files immediately using the “Delete all deletable files” button”. Where is the “Delete all deletable files” button? I can’t find one.

Wordfence email claims WordPress version is out of date when it’s not

I received a [Wordfence Alert] email yesterday from the plugin, which stated that “Your WordPress version is out of date”. But my WordPress version is not out of date. I have WordPress 6.5.2, which is the current version, and I have had 6.5.2 since 3rd April. So why was I sent this erroneous email by the Wordfence plugin?

I didn’t know this plugin existed and imagined having to roll back to a previous version of my website. A plugin that is normally fantastic, and adds to my site’s functionality, updated to a new version and there’s a big error that affects a page and a widget that are important.

WP Rollback has restored my website’s usability for visitors while the other plugin gets fixed. Thank you.

Not sure what is the purpose of password field in registration form

I love this plugin, but what bugs me is one question. What is the purpose of password field in registration form if user doesn’t see it in email?

If someone can help me get registration form to send username with VISIBLE password to user, it would be great.

WooCommerce shown as not active

Google Shopping plugin can only be activated if you have active WooCommerce plugin in your wp-admin

The WooCommerce plugin is activated, I didn’t make any changes on website that can cause that. I can’t even log in to the WordPress dashboard.

I really need some help with this problem!

Site health errors with TemplatesNext Toolkit… activated

Not a techy person at all here so I have to depend on my “site health checks” for any problems. After activating my “TemplatesNext Toolkit” these are the errors I get –

1: REST API request failed due to an error
2: Could not confirm that the wp_version_check()
3: The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

After deactivating the plugin the errors have disappeared. Are these critical errors? do they negatively impact my site?

Error in your SQL syntax

The Exports and Reports verson 0.8.5 constantly generates this error:

WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ‘()’ at line 1 for query ALTER TABLE 4rw5p2_exportsreports_log ADD () made by do_action(‘admin_init’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, exports_reports_init, exports_reports_upgrade, exports_reports_sql_install, dbDelta

It generates this all the time if the plugin has been activated. When deactivated, the errors stop.

It also generates the errors for the other tables. exportsreports_groups and exportsreports_reports.
