Does not Delete or Activate

On my website, I am not able to delete or activate the WPForms Lite plugin. When I was troubleshooting my website, I deactivated all the plugins. After that I tried to activate the WPForms Lite plugin, nothing happened. Then I clicked on delete. Status changed to deleting but remained the same for more than 15 minutes. After refreshing the plugins screen, it is back to “delete” as before.

Actually, now I want to uninstall the WPForms Lite in a clean way. Then install again and then activate.

Kindly guide how to do it.

I use your plugin on several websites, but recently I had to switch to another solution and noticed that even after I’ve uninstalled the plugin, the 10 database tables created by the plugin remained in database.

I’d like to suggest cleaning up after yourself on uninstall as the Plugin Handbook recommends.

I accidentally installed Ultimate Tinymce plugin on WP v4.3.1.
The problem is that I cant uninstall it. The plugin page doesnt load at all. It stays blank. so I have no chance to manipulate with any of my plugins at all.

Hello i sorted all my taxonomies and was glad to see that if the plugin is disabled then enabled again, the order is kept.

So i would like to know if it’s uninstalled then reinstalled it will remember the order too? Is it sort in my database?

With auto-sort it doesn’t touch at all to my theme code right? So no risks for messing thing up?

Cannot Reclaim URL "…com/events"

I installed the plugin just now and created a few test events to try it out and it was nearly perfect. I went to remove and now the URL at “.com/events” is showing the home page instead of the custom page template it used to have, and still has assigned to it when choosing to edit via the dashboard.

It also shows the homepage when deleting the page or when it’s recreated and assigned another of the custom page templates.

Already ruled out the cache and browser specific troubleshooting. Even went as far as optimizing the SQL database and using the plugin Clean Options to remove anything extra.

Yes, I know I can change to a different URL but there are backlinks going to “.com/events” so I’m trying to not think of that as an option.

Please please please help!!!! I installed the linkwithin plugin that a friend recommended to me and it was not working correctly on my site so I deactivated and then deleted the plugin and it is STILL SHOWING UP!! ahhhhh! I have searched all over these forums and google and general for a solution, but have not found one.

WP e-Commerce pluggin

Foolishly I installed WP e-Commerce plugin on my site this afternoon. I thought it was what I wanted and after testing determined it was not.

I gracefully uninstalled the plugin, and deleted the associated pages its created during its installation.

My problem I suspect is database related. None of my blog posts show up in the static blog page. It seems the perma links to the posts do not work it just shows the home/welcome page content.

I can however get to the posts category tags, but I cant get to them via archive, or recent posts.

Can someone who may have experience with the WP e-Commerce plugin maybe help me reset my database or know what fields this plugin may have modified.

Before you ask, no like an idiot i didnt back the database up first before testing and have no recent backup.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. The site is www.whatsupbrock.com and if you look at the Home, Contact and Blog pages you will see what I mean as well as the recent and archive post widgets

Plugin Uninstalled, But Still Shows Up

I am at the end of my ropes with the “Similar Posts Plugin”. I uninstalled it but the “Related Posts” text still shows up at the end of my single post page. I deleted the whole plugin folder with my FTP program but unfortunately that “Related Posts” text still shows up at the end of each post.

It is also not a theme problem, because I have tried to change the theme and regardless it still shows up.

Does anyone have any pointers for me as to how this can be fixed?

Extremely grateful for any help – loving WordPress. Thanks.
