Any help would be appreciated as I’m at a loss here, I have tried clearing every cache option available, even removed some caching plugins. Every test I made was done on incognito while manually clearing browser cache every time. I tried also updating the plugin and re-adding the entire new design at once but the next update it still rolled back my design so I had to restore a backup. I have also searched the hosted files extensively for any indication of the old css but I haven’t been able to find anything that might indicate the cause of this issue.
]]>I’m always very careful with client websites and never normally have auto updates for plugins activated. I manually update them together, then at least I know which plugin breaks a site if it happens.
Same for WordPress version updates.
What are your thoughts and what do most people do with regards to the WordPress version. Do you allow auto updates for the MINOR WordPress updates, and manually do updates for Major upgrades of wordpress ?
Normally I deactivate that also. And I’ve starting to change just to allow the MINOR updates of wordpress and leave the major updates as manual.
I usually have a plugin where I can control these updates etc.
I’m finding to manage a number of clients to updates WOrdpress & plugins manually in order to AVOID breaking a site is better than leaving auto updates for WordPress and all plugins, as this can be disastrous to a live website and then for me to figure out what updated last that caused the site to go down.
So usually I avoid this altogether.
But I’m wondering whether it is SAFE to allow Minor WordPress updates automatically OR that could still cause issues I’m wondering as well.
Anyway, look forward to knowing what others do.
I use backupbuddy for all clients anyway for backups to be done automatically.
And for large ecommerce sites, I backup the site, duplicate to a test server and updates ALL plugins & wordpress on a TEST SITE firstly.
That is usually my strategy for larger clients.
Thanks in advance.

]]>My header block should display as a horizontal header on desktop and it was working fine, however it is now showing as a toggle but the menu is expanded both above and below the toggle icon.
When I go to edit with elementor, the header display is working as it should, by showing a horizontal menu. Because of this, I’m not sure how to fix it as the display is correct on the editor!
Weirdly, the rest of the page formatting has all gone wrong on the editor, but it showing as it should on the live site.
I have not made any changes to the site at all, but there has been some automatic plugin updates. Does anyone know how to rectify this?
thank you!

This has happened to others with previous WordPress versions
