This is meant to show either 1 comment or x comments depending on if there is just one comment or more. However, regardless of if there is only one comment or more it always shows as a singular (comment) as opposed to a plural (comments).

Is there any other way to achieve this based on Elvin’s snippet below?

I use the Site-Reviews plugin and PolyLang for my site.

The problem is: that I want to translate the “plural” part too for the Site-Reviews, the singular part appears without a problem, but I don’t know why the “plural” string not appears in PolyLang “Translations”.

This should result in the same description. Does WP-Glossary plugin allow cycling through multiple possible options like stated above?

This behavior would be needed when using singular/plurar entries too.
Example2: Katze (singular), Katzen (plural ‘N’)

Question: Is any of the above examples (1 or 2) already supported by the current version? I’ve tried it, so I guess no – tho, I am not 100% sure.

Here is the problem

When I search for a part of a word, or if I search for the singular term of a word, the search results don’t show all the possible results. Example:

• Searching for “anwendung” will result in only 1 search result – although this particular string occurs in ALL of the posts (as a substring), that are visible on the front page.
• When I deactivate the plugin and search for “anwendung” all the results are shown as expected.

Question: Is there some setting in the plugin, that I am missing? I already checked every single setting but none of the seem right. Or is it just not possible to search for “substrings” with this plugin?

Problem:

“Addresses” text not translated on account page.

Caused by:

includes/wc-account-functions.php: 102. row: 'edit-address' => _n( 'Address', 'Addresses', ( 1 + (int) wc_shipping_enabled() ), 'woocommerce' ),

So address has a singular and plural text to translate (Address and Addresses), but in po/mo file these are change:

msgid "Addresses"
msgid_plural "Address"
msgstr[0] "…"
msgstr[1] "…"

To change in po / mo rows text is not acceptable:

woocommerce.po:21543: duplicate message definition…
woocommerce.po:13622: …this is the location of the first definition

I’ve gone through the Debugging Relevanssi Searching Issues steps with Query Monitor and see no significant differences or issues. The SQL statement is exactly the same between the searches just with and without the “s” trailing. I’ve checked the Debugging tab in Relevanssi Settings and “wildflower” and “wildflowers” are both within the indexed text.

An interesting thing is other words, singular and plural, do appear correctly in frontend and admin just fine. For example, “coupon” and “coupons” or “trumpet” and “trumpets” show results as expected. But other compound words do not like, “dogwood(s)”, “butterfly(ies)” or their words separately like “wild”, “flower”, “wood”, “fly”, etc. do not show any results.

What am I missing?

Using Relevanssi Premium 2.18.0, when a user searches for ‘lantern’ products with ‘lanterns’ in the post title do not appear in the results.

How do we set up plurals?

I know when can use the synonym setting to set individual associations, but we can’t do this for all product types.
