Unfortunately, since ssr cannot create a playlist of all episodes, I would like to use the WP player. So I want to replace the ssr podcast page domain/podcast with a new one I created.

I added this snippet to the function.php, saved the permalinks under settings and deleted the cache.

Result: I cannot create the new page with the url domain/podcast. The url domain/podcast-2 is always generated when the page is created. Now, the podcast feed is displayed under domain/podcast.

What can I do to create a page with the url domain/podcast?

Podcast page returns “No input file specified.”

The plugin seems to take over the ‘podcast’ page and thus I can’t edit it but the page only returns “No input file specified.” If I deactivate the plugin then I can find the page ‘podcast’ and edit it but it’s still stuck on “No input file specified.” If I then delete that page and empty the trash I get the same error. When I then re-activate the plugin I once again no longer have access to the page and it still returns “No input file specified.”

I’m on 5.0.2

Podcast pages 404 error

Neither of the default pages /podcast and /feed/podcast exist.
I have tried refreshing the permalinks, resaving on the podcast settings page.
What else can I try?

Error Message on Podcast Page

Hi there,

I am getting an error/ warning message across the top of my site as follows:

Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in /home/(my directory)/public_html/(mysite).com/wp-includes/post.php on line 1160
class=”wordpress ltr en en-us parent-theme y2015 m06 d02 h15 tuesday logged-in admin-bar plural archive archive- ct-body not-front standard”>

It only comes across the top of the www.(mysite).com/podcast page and nowhere else on the site. Otherwise everything appears to be working normally.

Do you know why I might be receiving this error message and what I would need to do to remove it?

Seriously Simple Podcasting-Podcast Page Link On Homepage?

Hello,
I just tried to set up a feed for a podcast, using Seriously Simple Podcasting. I created a Series, and an entry for the first Episode. When I preview the episode page, I see what it looks like, and I was hoping I could have a link to the page for this and any upcoming episodes, in the bar where I currently have just the Home and About Me pages listed. I thought it might have appeared as Podcast, automatically, after using the plug-in, but nothing is present.

Is there a way to make this happen, just linking to the /podcast page, on the home page, where it would show all of the episodes, with descriptions and embedded players, etc.? Also, I am using the Twenty Ten theme. Thanks, so much, in advance, for any help resolving this.

Can't edit Podcast Page

When I try to navigate to the podcast page, all it does is bring up the main blog feed for our site. I’ve tried looking through the settings to see if there’s anything to control this, and I’m having trouble finding anything. I’ve also tried just typing in the url, but it does the same thing. I’m not sure why it would be doing this… Any suggestions?

Here is my dilemna. I’m a newbie to podcasting and have a page setup on my blog, just for all my downloads. I seetup a feed through feedburner to this particular page. If I add to it by editing my page and adding a new download link, does feedburner recognize there is a new file?

Is this the way to do it or should I set up a post category and set my feed to that category?
