Hi,
I’m having trouble with adding the PROJECT/PORTFOLIO section and having it function properly. I CAN successfully add the Project/Portfolio section in the Theme Layout Manager (placing it in the hierarchy of display, number of columns, e.g.). However, when I click on one of the projects displayed on the home page, it comes up as a 404 page not found. I cannot figure out how to fix the links. HELP please! This would be to get a BEFORE-AFTER section onto my home page; pretty vital since we are a CLEANING business! Appreciate time and suggestions.

Creating a portfolio with Dara

I’ve created a project portfolio page (two separate types of portfolios) and I thought setting this up as a page was the best option, but it seems that the tags I am applying to the pages aren’t working. (for example – I have a tag “white cabinets’ and when I search for white cabinets I get no results)

Would it be better to set the portfolio pages up with the posts format? If so, is it possible to have 3 different types of ‘posts’ (blog, Portfolio 1 and Portfolio 2)? Any ‘best practices’ on setting these up?

Perfect for my portfolio website. Easy to set up everything and really easy to adapt to your own style! Finally a gallery with which you can showcase all of your mediawork. Also videos really fit into the gallery as you can see on my site [link removed] great!

Hello everyone
I have my website running for at least 5 months know and everything worked perfectly until Tuesday.
When I create a new portolio everything works just fine, sections, texts, details etc…..
But when I click on the button “+ add media” a window open with all my photos, then I can upload and select the photos I want in my portfolio.
Once the selection is done I clic on the button “select” down right of the window and the window closed but the photos I selected isn’t showing and nothing happen !!
So impossible to add photos in my portolio why?
What can I do please ?
I am a photographers and the theme of the website is Oshine from theme forest

rearrange order on home page

I love this theme! But, I just want to rearrange the order in which my services/portfolio/recent works display. Instead of the default, I want to arrange (from top of page scrolling to bottom) as such:
1) quotes. I want to add in random quotes from clients at the top of my page
2) Recent works (blog article links)
3) Portfolio

How can I do this? thanks

I have set up a portfolio in the CASE STUDY section of my page, each item should have a green box on rollover, that shows a link to the portfolio item.

I have tried the theme creator’s support forum over at Themeshifters, but they aren’t the fastest at responding, so I’m hoping someone here is generous enough to propose a solution.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has an idea, plug-in or solution of my problem.

I want to set up a page for a portfolio. This is what I’m thinking, I create a category for portfolio posts.

Each post will include a large image of the project and a paragraph about the project.

Then I will create a page called portfolio that will call up all posts that are in the category portfolio.

That’s the part I know how to do , but I don’t know the following:

But I want the snippets of the posts that appear on the page, to show a thumbnail instead of the large image.

Does anyone know how to do this ?
