we have an issue with editing something post-publish.
Our editor team detected an issue when an article is being published with PublishPress Status:
The save button disappears after publishing, because the z-index is still existing with the shown values. After a reload of the page, the save button appears again. But this is a UX flaw, because it confuses the editor in the backend.
Could you please tell me if this is something fixed in the near future? We would love to update the plugin with a fix.
Thanks in advance,
Arzu Celik
I read few posts saying there is an option to change in Reading tab from Full text to Excerpt, but I don’t see anything like that in settings. I am on jetpack free subscription.
Am I missing anything? Appreciate any help.
]]>I have this plugin installed on a few sites. It’s simple, and fast. Best load times yet out of caching plugins. There’s one thing missing, though. Or, not working for some reason. When a post is published, you need to manually purge the cache for it to show up on home and archive pages.
Any plans to add this?
Thanks in advance,
Sean
The post does indeed publish, but I keep getting this blank screen. The last plugin I installed was Yoast SEO so I deactivated it but the problem persisted. My theme is Site Origin North.

Ideas?
]]>For several weeks I’ve been having trouble where the database server of my VPS crashes. It happens every time when publishing a new post.
Today, the entire server even crashes. So the problems seems to increase.
I’m guessing it’s probably some plugin, but I couldn’t really figure out which plugin. I’ve tried disabling all of them and enabling them one by one. The back end just goes slower and slower as I do so, but it doesn’t seem to crash at one particular plugin.
Even so, that when I disable all and back enable all, publishing a new post doesn’t crash the server. But when I play around in the back end a bit, or wait a day it then crashes the server.
I’ve also installed Query Monitor, but didn’t noticed anything strange or extra slow.
Would anyone have a suggestion on how to locate such a problem?
Thank you in advance,
Jordy
