My website sells digital items, so I try to minimise the details I ask my customers to provide. In this context, my website doesn’t ask customers to to provide their postal code on the checkout page.
However, I’ve got several customers telling me that their orders are failing because their postal code is invalid. The ones that wrote me are from Canada and Ireland.
The Postal Code field appears in the card details section, right under Expiration Date and Security Code (please see attached). And when they introduce it, it appears as invalid, therefore they can’t go through with their payments.
Is this a feature of the plugin, to ask for the customers Postal Code? Does it appear for all customers or only for some from certain countries?
Appreciate your help with this.

Unfortunately, the plugin (for me) is displaying it in reverse order. How can I change that?
Thank you very much!
]]>While I realize this is an issue between the bank &/or card provider and the zip code entered during checkout, is there nothing we can do from a Woocommerce perspective to alert the user of this error before the transaction looks to essentially go through?
I’m hoping there is some form of solution where the user would see an error during checkout before essentially going through as if it were successful. Is there no feature or integration (plugin) for better handling these?

]]>Why is this happening?
]]>The challenge I am having is that the field is marked Zip Code and only allows numbers and limits to 5 characters.
I would like to be able to enter Canadian Postal codes which include 6 characters with a mix of numbers and letters.
Can this be done with this plugin
]]>Your USA zip code validation simple accepts 5 digits, and I can put valid or invalid zip codes like 00000 or 99999 and it works for them.
The customer’s pattern is AA99 9AA. A are single letters, 9 is any number from 0-9. AB 123 CD. They have a valid up to date zip code as i can google it and find the exact postal area and it shows up listed in UK sites that have them. Fix this as soon as possible, it is costing them business. If i remove the field through modifying the code for the form, and not send the postal codes, i don’t know if that can cause problems with their bank.
