Problems with Order of Posts

I am having problems with the order of posts in the WP Symposium Pro Forum on my website. That is, new posts don’t go to the top of all posts. Sometimes there is an option to pin post to the top, but it’s not always there, and once I do that, I cant undo it. If you look at the page, you will see the posts are all out of chronological order. How do I fix that? Thank you

Sticky Post Problems

I am quite a novice at this so please if anyone has any help for me it has to relatively simple.

I have a site; www.bills-on-the-rise.com where I discuss football. I have to put in some advertising and I would like one of the spots to be in my order of posts; preferably the 2nd or maybe the 3rd spot down. My problem is that I found a plug-in called SM Sticky Clicky Star where I place an ad permanently at the #1 position in my order of posts but I cannot move it down to 2nd or 3rd nor can I find another which would do the job that I need.

I see plenty of other sites with their ads in 2nd or 3rd in the order and I have asked about it but the answers that I get are way over my head in coding. I am just not going to be about to write code to do that kind of stuff…I’m just not!

But there must be a plug-in or some relatively simple simple way to do what I need. If nothing else I CAN< follow directions.

Sorting Post Order

This may be a dumb question, BUt I can’t seem to find how to do this. I am using a CHild theme for Twenty Ten.

I have 10 static pages of which I want the home page to always show first.

For the blog, I have it set for that page to show first. But, I want the postings to show as the first one posted ( a Welcome page) always to be first. Where do I make that change. I don’t see it anywhere under READING.

How to change posting order from oldest 1st

I think I have a question be patient with me if this doesn’t fit as I am very new to WP I am blogging a work of fiction and have started with Prologue then Chapter 1. Of course the next chapter 2 then shows up as the first thing that readers see and so on thru out about 80 chapters. Short of starting at the end of the book I can’t figure out how to post with 1st chapter 1st and all others follow in order chapters not of posting. Is there a way to do that? Also I would like to have the author’s bio show on the front page as well and have info in about but that is a link that has to be activated rather than appearing on front page Any help would be appreciated. Blog posts in wrong order

I am not sure what happened, but all of a sudden, my blog page started listing the posts with the very first one at the top. I changed the presentation to include all of my posts, but my most recent ones forces the reader to scroll all the way down. I also had them sorted by month and when a new month came around it would show nothing. Any suggestions?

How do I get the posts to reverse order? I want oldest at top then newer beneath.

Or even better – 1st post to stay at top and all others below in normal order newest 1st.
